Why waste your time on these stupid administrators? Get a nice lawyer and sue them. I promise you that you will not work for a long time. Some of these administrators are just fools. Let your lawyers get them to court.

The nurses administrators should allow them to sit their exams. Or is there anything illegal or criminal for a pregnant woman to sit exams? If no letter is forthcoming it is up to the nurses to go the CHRAJ for the letter and ...

If no letter is forthcoming it is up to the nurses to go the CHRAJ for the letter and give it to the nurses administrators. What about the gender ministry? Do something. A pregnant woman is also a human being!

Any way a young and dynamic human rights lawyer who appears to be driven by his professional call sent a letter to Nurses and Midwives Council and they cried their non involvement in the decision and put the blame on the school authorities. The school authorities are now saying they are waiting for a letter from the Council.

The nursing and midwifery council should is a disgrace. They make pregnancy look like a plague and worse of all majority of them are women. A disgrace to womanhood.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana wish to state on record that it has no policy barring pregnant trainees from taking part in the licensing examination. it was not the decision of the Council not register the students for the exams. it is the training school that took up the decision and besides the school's decision was without recourse to the Council.

I also would want to state that we received the entry forms of the trainees yesterday from the training and we are doing our best to register them. the council is a statutory body and respects the laws of the country and cannot take the the human rights of citizens away from them
