Ban ban ban has become the motto of today. Our leaders/elders are so bankrupt of ideas that they 1st they say is "ban" . Aren't there already approved gadgets for schools and when they can be used? Common phone you couldn't maintain in the schools ? If the adults in society lead by example the children will follow. I can say our Ghana is this way because majority of adults today are undisciplined. Listen to the radio and see

I think Ghanaians should be looking out for practices that will lead our younger folks to a better future. I get angry when people tend to politicize every move by leaders to put up measures to curb certain happenings. It is absolutely ill to allow school children use phones while in school, taking into account the current effects of phone on the so-called 21st century students. whatsapp is a good medium of communication however, this 'sin sick Ghanaians' wont use it for any good purpose but to tell lies, send indecent images and video that significantly affect the morality of the society and the growing generations. Fellow Ghanaian, do accept the fact that the use of whatsapp in school is not good and should be condemned, Period.

Encourage the use of Cell Phones and tablets in basic schools and beyond
Ghana’s Ministry of Education and pre-university schools are becoming Luddites! We are erecting technology barriers around schools! Curiously, many in leadership position in Ghana today cannot even type well or use basic computer applications. Any wonder most officials must have secretaries who perform routine and basic roles.
Cell phones can be used and have been routinely used to teach science, writing, and reading in developed countries. Students can use What’s Up for editing, Google to search for information, calculation, e-library research etc. Cell phones with relevant applications can enable kids in remote villages link up with the rest of the world. Cell phones and tablets can be equalizing media for deprived schools. Schools can link up using cell phones/ tablets; students can work cooperatively using e-technology. The cost of books would be low if kids purchase e-tablets and down load e-texts. The cost of publishing can be low using e-technology.
Kids in secondary schools know much more about cell phone and e-technology than most of their teachers. Schools must encourage the increasing use of technology to facilitate the learning process. Students can write their thesis sentences, arguments, visual narratives, outlines, and even drafts on cell phones and tablets.
Schools must creatively use the endless opportunities that cell phones and e-technology bring. Ghanaian educators must not force kids to relive the anti technology age of Luddites.
Education must prepare kids to deal with realities of today and future; e-technology can even be used to harness knowledge from the past. Kids who use modern technology have greater opportunity to do well than those who do without e-technology. Leaders of education must not impose their values on kids. The realities of today are vastly different from life of a decade, two decades and longer.

What have they said about it? Haven't they seen it, haven't they heard it, what are they saying what's what?
How much will the government of Ghana get from these Chinese by way of taxes. How much? Vis a vis the negative impact this gambling games will have on our children.
Pls stop the what's what? So that I can stop hearing.
We sit down and look on like June 3rd disaster for this Chinese people to live their country to mess up almost everything including on rivers and now our children with gambling. You can't even make positive suggestions to the government and all of a sudden you wake up to say what's what?
Nonsense!!!!!
