Author:-Victor A. Young..... Everything is going wrong in Ghana, under the corrupt and incompetent John Mahama's presidency; the heavens have shut its doors of blessings to Ghana and that is things continue to fall apart for our dear nation. The kinds of corrupt, thievery and murder that is going on attests to all facts. We can only redeem ourselves from the wicked and evil-doers by voting massively in the November 7 elections against John Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt. That's the only solution!

You think you can just get up and make up your own laws? How do you even define a "rich" man. If you have any concern about campaign financing, send it to parliament. Useless though they are, they can put some limit on individual contribution. If it can be monitored, that is.

As for this, I do support Freddie Blay. I am an NDC guy, but as for this, he is right!
Effort must be made to fund serious and legitimate political parties that fulfill all EC and Constitutional Requirements like having manned offices in all constituencies, etc.
I will add that to encourage broader participation in the political and electioneering process in Ghana, the EC (and parliament) must be made to reward the parties, at least some GHc1.00 or GHc2.00 for each of their Voters for casting their votes.
This should be based on the presidential Vote count.
This will provided some "Seed Money" for each political party for their year round activities such as campaigning, and day-to-day operation of party affairs.
The advantages of this funding formula could include:
1. Seed money for serious political parties to operate with.
2. Non-Dependence on "special" party funders and/or owners.
3. Lowered or diminished monetary influence on voters.
4. Encouragement of grass-root participation in the political process.
5. Individual and/or grass-root Claim & Ownership of the respective political party (with a feeling of belongingness, inclusiveness and some ownership).
Freddie Blay, I do support you!

Blay is a serial liar and a hypocrite. Now that the Akufo-Addo hijacked NPP is broke, it knows to ask that rich people should stop funding political parties. The NPP was not singing this hypocrital tune when NPP was in power and was being funded by the wealthy Otumfuor.
Akufo-Addo has replaced his party's Chairman with a person who loves to bark just to please his master.
These people are going to bribe u oooo.
