We are all watching how events would unfold in this matter. The Police and the Attorney General should be very careful in their dealings with the so-called celebrities.The Law is no respecter of persons and no one is above or below the law. The judge should apply the law as it is written for him. Offenders who should know better and do otherwise should be given a stiffer sentences. Paintsil knows the law very well and knows that in Europe where he has been playing his football, one cannot assault a Police Officer without a stiff punishment by the law enforcement agencies; Paintsil therefore knew the consequences of his actions very well. The court should therefore give him very stiff sentence. For Pantsil to say he is sorry is irrelevant. Mr. Asiedu (sexy don don) who allegedly killed the Abuakwa North MP, Mr J.B. Danquah Adu has also said he is sorry for killing the MP. Shall we also set him free?

I know he is going to give the victims a couple of thousands of cedis and the case will be withdrawn. I wished this fool would have been prosecuted and jailed for his foolishness. There were 2 police officers and they couldn't tackle one guy onto the floor and shackle him? Regardless of who he is, would they have allowed that if the accused was some local gorro boy? I am sure the police men allowed themselves to be victims, so that they could extract money from Paintsil in out-of-court settlements. I mean, two men with the power of the Force behind them, and they were punched and bloodied without retaliation, or some form of subduing and arresting the perpetrator? Something is definitely wrong with GHANA.
