A simple order so intelligible to even grade one students are being wrangled with bizarre interpretations of their own meaning and understanding far from the norm. Pitiful !! That alone shows how bent this administration is curved to retain power - through thick and thin. Now the machinery is unleashing its most foul-mouthed advocates of insane and provocative vitriol whichever way it goes , now joined by Anita Desooso and the dirty-mouthed gang.
The truth is they see red and like snakes, trampled over, they are wild and ready to release vernom.
Meanwhile the Supreme Court instruction is simple : You can not use NHI as basis to establish citizenship. It is unconstitutional to include holders who used it for regiistration therefore delete them from the register and give them a chance to re-register if they are citizens , using either birth certificates, passports or other means of showing birthright. Ghanaians are not stupid and understand this clearly . DONT TELL US ANYTHING DIFFERENT !!

The EC does not operate outside the realms of the supreme law in Ghana which is the constitution and the only lawful body tasked to interprete it is the SC. The SC made a clear ruling that NHIS cards are not eligible, that should not disenfranchise a voter upon this circumstance, EC has the mandate to purge the register of such anomalies and use the proper mechanism to re-register any affected voter. Justice Dotse after this ruling only made a comment as a citizen, what is unethical about this? Idiot Annan, party politics which makes you line your pockets also makes you think you are better than other Ghanaians, just get lost with your nonsense, with people like you surrounding Mahama no wonder he has become impotent.

This confirms the general impression out there that NDC attracts the ignorant, the lawless and IDIOTS, because how possible that both "intellectuals" and "lay persons" alike who subscribe to NDC exhibit IDIOCY and shun even simple LOGIC?

The "independent" nature of EC does not makes it a law making institution or act anyway it deems fit. How could a ruling which says "take out names that registered with NHIS" could as the same time mean "maintain people who registered using NHIS?"

We need serious and patriotic minded team to manage Ghana. NDC has proven incompetent to to the job.

Hello everyone, this' the first time I've heard a senior member of the bench providing clarification on a judgement in public through the media. Does anyone know whether there is a precedent especially where parties involved have been encourage d to go back to court for further clarification? On one hand, the positive I see in this is that Mr Dotse is being proactive and st the same time alarmed at how a simple & straight forward order is being misrepresented by so called intelligentsia. I'm strongly convinced that the NDC knows something in the register that others don't know because otherwise, I don't see why anybody with a brain in their head will fight against a process that would ensure a credible and reliable electoral register. The NDC is doing more than good to its image and the earlier they join in the quest for transparency, the better for them and every Ghanaian. After all, they won't be in government forever.

By which law that the plaintiffs in this case can not got back to court for clarity?theres a saying that its always difficult to wake someone who's pretending to be sleeping.And one such person is David Anan,this lawyer is so empty that I sometime think he should go back to jail to complete the rest of the professional courses.This should serve as an eye opener to the Supreme court,in their future rulings they should bring the ruling to the levels of all ghanaians,in a country of so many illiterates and educated illiterate,we cant give a ruling with ambiguities. The lawyers themselfs re pretending not to understand the ruling including those who defended the EC,so what language was used in the court before the ruling?,if the Supreme court is seeking popularity then this cant be the time to do so,they re already popular enough.
