  The Peace Council has not been of any use. It is a good thing that the dissolution or reconstitution has come at this time. It is a pity the council has not uttered a word in its lifetime, about the need to have fairness in the electoral processes. Fairness is the ingredient that will no doubt, ensure peace at national elections. There must be a Council of Fairplay in addition to the new Peace Council to be put in place

PEACE COUNCIL SHOULD BE COMPOSED OF MEN AND WOMEN WITH NATIVE KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM TO UNDERSTAND THE ROOT-CAUSES FO CONFLICT AND THE INTEGRITY TO FIND SOLUTION. PEOPLE WITH BOOK-KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER CULTURES CANNOT DO THE JOB BUT WILL TAKE THE JOB FOR PRESTIGE.

  The government should avoid creating a confrontation council if the trust of all stakeholders is to be assured. Members on the council should be selected with the Concensus of all stakeholders.
