The controlled use of mobile phones in the classroom should be encouraged. It is, literally, hands on learning. The requirement to Bring Your Own Device is increasingly prevalent in academia and business. Many hardware manufacturers no longer sell desktops and laptops in western Europe.

This is another example of how a developing country can benefit from leapfrogging soon to be obsolete technology.
