The NDC on the other hand is focus on #changingLives through the EDAIF fund, which has supported ninety-one (91) farmers to cultivate 2,645.85 acres of mango plantation. Thus increasing their receipt from the rest of the world.

Is Tekper patriotic at all? Indeed, we have vagabonds in power. Mahama and the NDC are ready to sell Ghana to foreigners for their own gain. UBA was born out of patriotism. UBA used to be a British owned bank but the Federal Government of Nigeria nationalised it to become a fully owned bank of Nigeria because of patriotism. Tekper should have also been driven by patriotism to hand this juicy investment to Ghana Government owned banks, especially,when the motive is to invest in a Ghana Government treasury bills. In legal form, UBA is registered in Ghana but the substance of the Matter is that any profit made will be repatriated to Nigeria with lightening speed and Ghana will be back to square one notwithstanding the inflationary and exchange rate implications that will follow suit.

That is what proactive leaders do. JM keeps his promises and this is evident in the fact that while successive governments only managed dumsor, he fixed it by adding over 800 megawatts to the National grid

Currently, an amount of GHC 11 million was disbursed as business loans under the Rural Financial Services to support 3, 077 rural Micro and Small Enterprises, with 2,162 of recipients being women. The beneficiaries, are now in gainful employment in agro-processing, agro-industrial, pre & post-harvest services, carpentry, welding and fabrication, animal and fish farming and traditional craft thanks to the NDC.

The Energy Levies Act which imposed these levies and taxes on electricity consumption are crippling local businesses. Scrapping of the levies would be more prudent than a reduction in electricity tariffs.

Levies on power consumption were directly responsible for the significant increase in tariffs.

“Another reason is the levies and taxes. Now you have 10 percent levies on every kilowatt per hour consumed then you have the commercial consumers, 17.5 percent VAT then you also have a 7 cedi flat rate on every meter for all consumers.”

However, President Mahmama over the years and still counting has paid attention to all the various sections. Thus he introduced the BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (BECE) RESIT POLICY, which allows candidates who did not excel in their exams at the Basic level to re-sit their BECE as private candidates. Thus he has ended the shift system in our basic schools, built 123 SHS which will help admit over 400,000 students and equally built two new universities which are training our future leaders.

Moreover he has already taken the first step by setting up a task force to audit the new billing software of the ECG. Thus that is a mark of a proactive president

It is therefore a serious disgrace and treasonable offense and lack of a sense of diligence for ECG Executives to SHAMELESSLY attempt SHAMEFULLY and deliberately to append "days" and "GH CEDI" for some bogus consumption as units of electricity consumed instead of "Kilowatts hours"They should provide transparent meters for street lights to be able to quantify public consumption of electricity to stop the folly they are playing with before it gets too late, for they will surely suffer the retribution.
As if that is not enough,the opposition in ECG provides bills of current year with items of yesteryear and thus inflate the bogus bills.ECG IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RECENT POWER OUTAGES.There is one particular guy at the Asawinso Substation and another in Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai district of the Western region who are notorious for that and there are many more of such out there too.It is time to unseat such elements as soon as possible.Another group of these nuisance are the the ECG commercial officers all over the country who are fund of the infamous behaviour and who must be examined and disciplined accordingly and so quickly.

Now, they are pretending like they do not know where the high cost of electricity comes from so they are "rebranding" it over billing by ECG. The useless spin doctors of the government cannot fool Ghanaians. Get rid of your high taxes, levies and the IMF as well as your spin doctors and we will all be fine and live happily in Ghana thereafter, and do not forget to get rid of the massive corruption in the country.
