Danquah and Co sent delegates to the Queen to say "Ghana in particular" is not ready for INDEPENDENCE! This has passed joke. On scale then, the DUMB intellectuals apart from late Prof. Mills have not yet been named. What have we got here now? Dr Nkrumah will be turning and dem imperialists will be laughing their heads off. This is coming from Ghana's No.1 intellectual? Insulting the memory of a Vice President, he himself picked? Insulting the memory of a President Ghanaians went to the polls to elect and not by the barrel of the gun? Why don't all the electorates know what we are going for then? Was J.J. not at Tiorbordon in 2008? And he said to crown it all for such a dumb Society, he had proposed proposing Justice Anang to hold the fort for 4 years and then he will come back for 8 years and then someone else for 4 years and then he will continue coming back and back and back until he has solved all the problems of Ghana? By the way the Vladmir Puttin analogy was incorrect. Puttin was head all the time. When he became Prime Minister, the power was with the Prime Minister and when he reverted to President, power shifted to the President. So to speak our J.J regret yielding to international pressure by agreeing to only two terms policy. Comrade Mugabe is still at it in Zimbabwe and they love him there. He is accredited to be the most educated Head of State in the world, a liberation fighter and won a free and fair election from the onset. For how long will Ghanaian leaders be object of ridicule to the world as they come under an unproven academia whose revolution began when he was already holding the reigns of power. GHANA IS A BEACON OF DEMOCRACY TO THE WORLD. It is sad because Ghana is never standing still with developmental projects spanning the length and breadth of the country. In the footsteps of Dr Nkrumah before he commenced using the term imperialists globally, he compiled a Book completely detailing out all their franchises in almost all the regions of Africa. He never made vain or idle claims. J.J really has to stop insulting Ghanaian leaders to all visitors. Ghana is all we all have and this unproven corrupt this, corrupt that is buttressing the stigmatization of Africa as a very corrupt continent. Soon it will start surfacing in some religious journals as statements attributed to a former President of Ghana that Ghana is indeed corrupt. Soon our kins in the diaspora will have to be explaining themselves to inquisitive foreign nationals. Is President J.J Rawlings not covered by some form of immunity? By all means, it is grossly immature to be insulting the memory of a dead former President of Ghana simply because the President refused ADVICE FROM HIM. Was there an agreement that he, J.J will be ruling Ghana from the shadows of the late J.A. MILLS?

This condition is characterized by a lack of ability to empathize with others(eg. his callous remarks to the BBC after Prez Mills' death) and a desire to keep the focus on themselves at all times(he loves media attention and will do everything to get one, – SUCH AS GATE CRASHING A BIRTHDAY PARTY TO COURT ATTENTION - he does not want to leave the political scene - his appearance at the NDC congress in Kumasi notwithstanding his being sidelined by the Ahwois, Tsikatas, Kofi Awoonor, HIS U-TURN IN SAYING THE NDC WILL WIN 2012 AFTER SAYING THEY WILL LOSE).

A similar timeframe has seen Ghana looted into the ground by the Mills-Mahama CPPist's at least from the words of Edmund Delle.

We all understand how many of us use perceptions to characterize others as evil, corrupt or inept. In the case of the ordinary Ghanaian who may use such tactic, it may be excusable from the point of view that access to facts and figures are deliberately hampered by those who perpetrate most of the crimes people are concerned about because those perpetrators control those pieces of information. So, the Public is left with only the manifestations of any cumulative corruption or ineptitude by those Officials concerned.

Rawlings, however, must not have any hindrance in accessing any such facts about others in Government. Therefore, if he accuses anyone of a crime, it behooves him to produce the hard facts and figures to support that charge.

Many have over the years accused Rawlings of corruption, rendering his once-famous AFRC era a useless deadly adventure.

Yet, we are yet to find any particular charge of corruption sticking on the former Head of State. Even Kweku Baako's focused trip to uncover what he perceived as J. J.'s huge corruption linked to some Norwegian entities did not yield any convincing incrimination against Rawlings. But the taint is still indelibly noticeable on J. J.'s reputation. And he has always fought that way of judging him.

So, why is he using the same method in stereotyping all Nkrumahists? Moreover, would he not acknowledge that many Political leaders and activists in Ghana love using the name of laudable past heroic leaders as a charade to promote themselves without doing much to emulate their idols?

Not everyone who screams to be noticed as a Nkrumahist is truly one. And I hope the former Head of State would concede and acknowledge his general characterization of Nkrumahist is unfair.

We should not forget also that J. J. could have a bitter grudge against many of the Nkrumahists because he knows they dislike him for ending Dr. Liman's Government prematurely. I would say, J. J.'s attack on Nkrumahists is a thinly veiled attack on Boakye Djan, his savior turned arch-nemesis. J.J. seems to be seeing Boakye Djan as epitomizing all Nkrumahists.

Rawlings, is by such loud unfair public denunciation of all Nkrumahists is not making our Political landscape any easy to traverse. He is making the political environment more tense with such comments.

A security man of a certain school i know very narreted his to me one day by telling me how he was reduced to poverty by Rwallings manipulations. The man is in mid 70s and a musulem by religion . He was a cola nut business man in the 80s and 90s. Due to illiteracy, he din't a bank acount for savings so he had bags of ferterlizers full of notes of money in his house. This is the way Rwallings took that money from him. When his regim was changing the then cureny to the one Kuffour came and changed,JJ told those who had huge sums of money kept home to take it to bank of Ghana for it to be changed for them and since then till now many of them din't receive their moneys again and that is where he never rose in business . He told that he never started poor in his life but JJ rendered him poor till date . Today he J J can call someone a criminal. May God have mercy upon him.

JJ was not attacking the CPP funtionaries as we have them now. He is attacking the CPP elements within the ruling NDC government who have hijacked the NDC party, and stealing state resources from left, right, centre.
JJ during his hey days had a lot of Nkrumaist in his government, and indeed, they assisted JJ to be who he is today. When JJ left office, the Nkrumaist within the ndc thought it wise to hijack the ndc party and use it as a spring board to bring other Nkrumaist on board. This was calculated to provide a strong Nkumaist party as a strong opposition to the Danquah/Busia tradition in the country. In the opinion of the Nkrumaist within the ndc, the CPP and other Nkrumaist parties were to be extinct, never to be resurrected again.
Indeed, the ndc party has been hijacked alright by the Nkrumaist, but the plan to see to the total demise of other Nkrumaist parties for a stronger Nkrumaist party under the umbrella of the NDC has not succeeded. It is the policy of the ndc to see to the total collapse of all other Nkrumaist parties in Ghana today.
So for JJ, any talk, abuse and insults against the Nkumaist is not directed to Prof. Delle and his CPP, but against those Nkrumaist in the ndc party who have hijacked his ndc party for their own personal aggrandizement.
