Could have been a single round from a locally manufacture musket (gun) [the "te-abrofre" gun with many tiny bullets] that was mistakenly fired at the crowd. A single barreled gun could also be suspect.

Do you know the bureaucratic process involved in securing such funds from the government to absorb such financial burdens? It is surely not an over-the-counter or ATM activity. Will the young girl not be dead by the time government releases such funds? Can the girls parents support her financially till funds from the government arrive? Will the health facility wait for the funds from government to start treatment on the young girl? Let us appreciate good personal gestures from people towards the needy even if we hold divergent views.
