The NDC, have hurt the party precisely through such "foolish" moves!
In addition to the Appak situation, there is the potential looming disaster involving Pesse Whyte in Greater Accra. The affable Peter Anarfi, the immediate past Ashanti Regional Minister, foolishly tried to unseat a very popular, energetic and hardworking incumbent NDC MP, Adusei, only to loose miserably, and also antagonize some members within their own party. Surprisingly, Anarfi has not acknowledged the harm he has done to the party in the Ahafo area, and the reason why he is out of a job as a Regional Minister!
Without mincing my words, I will say such moves are simply dumb; and suggest nobody can fault Azong for seeking to protect his back-side.
