AUTHOR: VICTOR A. YOUNG----- The fact is the most of our youth are not so smart. They're confused because of lack of good education under the NDC gov't. They've been targeted by the NDC; most of them gave sold their conscience to the NDC. It's up to the NPP try to educate and inspire the youth to be smart. Who's going to lead the charge and how are we going to do it?

We agree that what the Supreme Court said was unambiguous and clear. What the EC said is also clear. EC don't have the technology to remove dead people, minors, NHIS , etc...... Anybody who has the technology to remove the names including Abu Ramadan, Georgina Wood, Nana Addo, Asante Bediatu etc... Should give it to EC to clean the register.

If our highly educated men can't understand a simple order "delete or clean" then we have problem with english language in Ghana. The contention before the Supreme court is about the credibility of the voters register. Therefore,if the "SC oders the EC to take steps immediately to delete or clean the register of voters by using the provisions in the 1992 Costitution, and applicable laws of the country".I don't understand why the educated people, lawyers, doctors, politicians, professors and directors etc can't understand this simple instruction.Even I,Joe the plumber quickly understood that the SC wanted the EC to clean the register in time to make it credible before Nov.elections.I took my understanding from the initial debate where one party wanted the EC to compile a new register and another party wanted the EC to clean the register because they all believe it is bloated. After consultation with stakeholders,EC has agreed to clean the register but not to compile a new one.Abu Ramadan and co. not being happy with EC's decision sued the EC in Supreme court, expecting the court to force EC to compile a new register. The SC rejected Abu Ramadan's petition for a new register but agreed with EC to clean the register by using the law of the land,as simple as abc.Why can't our educated men understand this simple kindergarten instruction?I can't believe this.Thank you.

Mr Adu Ramadan and co didn't go to court because of NHIS cards. They went to court because they wanted the SC to force the EC to compile a new voters register, that was their motive. The Supreme Court rejected their petition outright and sided with the EC to clean the register for voters by the provisions in the Constitution. Is this difficult for educated people to understand this simple kindergarten instruction?Let Adu Ramandan and co. go back to court, the judges will speak Hausa if English is too difficult for Adu and his lawyer to understand.Thank you.

Which specific application of the EC law in C.I 91 is Kwasi Pratt alluding to, in the implementation of the Supreme Court ruling with specific reference to persons on the voters register who registered using the NHIS cards, which the Supreme Court has ruled unconstitutional? Can Kwasi Pratt care to share that specific law and educate us?
The Supreme Court ruled and ordered the EC to delete names of those persons who registered using the NHIS cards and an opportunity created for them to re-register with the caveat, not to disenfranchise them to ensure a reasonably accurate and credible voters register for the 2016 elections.
