Mornah is perfectly right. The fight to ensure that Ghanaians grow and eat their own food and reduce their dependency on imported foods is a laudable idea. But there is a lot of hypocrasy on the part of our ministers heading ...

Mornah is perfectly right. The fight to ensure that Ghanaians grow and eat their own food and reduce their dependency on imported foods is a laudable idea. But there is a lot of hypocrasy on the part of our ministers heading the Agric and Trade sectors who speak the loudest on reducing imports of these goods but do not seam to practically work in this regard. Why!!!! The reason is not far fetched. These importers are practically and virtually the same ministers with import business companies doing business as usual. The call to reduce importation of goods especially rice, poultry products, baby dippers, toothpicks etc are just empty shouts by the ministers and politicians since these are businesses controlled by the same ministers and politicians. Nothing will ever change.

It is really a disgrace when parties go on the media to speak anyhow without facts or alternatives, by which i mean they should be making a concerted effort to make the responsible Dept or Ministry accountable.
