Next, markets must be the focus of any program to boost production. There must be better studies of the markets and promotion tools used to expand them as large as possible. otherwise, we are going to have our markets flooded with foreign foods while recipients of agric subsidies spend their portions on non-agric related luxury goods!

Rwanda's Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network-Rwanda (YEAN) and "Farming is Cool" initiatives are worthy of emulation. They have been used to attract the youth to agriculture. Impressive results! Go learn from them!
