Tekper should have also been driven by patriotism to hand this juicy investment to Ghana Government owned banks, especially,when the motive is to invest in a Ghana Government treasury bills. In legal form, UBA is registered in Ghana but the substance of the Matter is that any profit made will be repatriated to Nigeria with lightening speed and Ghana will be back to square one notwithstanding the inflationary and exchange rate implications that will follow suit.

The other someone assessed health services with the NHIS card. The shocking news is that he was asked to go and buy common paracetamol. This happened right here in Ghana but Togolese come to Ghana to enjoy some these things freely.
The issue is without oil money Kufuor was able to implement free maternal care and proper health insurance to Ghanaians. Unfortunately, with all the oil money NHIS cannot afford common paracetamol to its subscribers.

ARE WE SERIOUS AS A NATION?
we go to school to learn a profession. We go to school to have knowledge on what we want to do.
Some went to study education to be teachers, others did medicine to be doctors.
How on earth could GES recruit people who never read education, has no methodology in teaching and leave those with the skill at home. How do we want to train our young ones and what do we want them to become.? Putting square pegs into round holes, the deliberate version. Then what is the essence of reading education in a particular discipline? And why should the government consciously train teachers?

What is our crime?
I guess our only crime is being born as Ghanaians.
