  If the road network are so bad within Ghana, how on earth do they transport tomatoes easily from Burkina Faso to Ghana? Is it by air or what?

  Operation Feed Yourself was only good on as a propaganda tool for the Acheampong govt. I was old enough.if it were so successful, how on earth did Acheampong govt come up with the "bogus" super market concept where GNTC, UAC, ...

  Operation Feed Yourself was only good on as a propaganda tool for the Acheampong govt. I was old enough.if it were so successful, how on earth did Acheampong govt come up with the "bogus" super market concept where GNTC, UAC, etc stores were giving a few "provisions" to give to us? ... two cups of rice, sugar, bars of guardian soap etc? That said, our parents, have always relied on subsistence to feed us anyway. At secondary school, we had rationing between 1976-1979. I simply do not get this so-called success of the OFY.

  Carry out a better research and an improved analysis and you will realize that OFY was a great success. Don't view the success of the initiative from your home or mother's kitchen.

  Kofi I will say it was one of the best from the regime. Those who embraced it will testify how it helped in cutting down the food budget at home. Its the usual attitude of the Ghanaian that might have caused what you describe ...

Its the usual attitude of the Ghanaian that might have caused what you described and until we change our attitudes even the angels cannot give us a better Ghana.
