Are the Ghana EC the so-called best in Africa did not know how to prepare for this limited registration.
No wonder they refused to undertake a new voter registration exercise.
I mean how could they?
Ghana women must stand and tell the EC chairwoman that she is making a mockery of women in higher public office.
She seems to be more focused on accusations of her personal life than the job she is supposed to perform.
There are women in higher public office who have conducted themselves with dignity that their office demands but she seems to be dancing to a tune that has deafened her to her real responsibilities.

This EC is an embarrassment to Ghana. Is it sheer incompetence, bias or both? This is what happens when positions are given to unqualified people. Why the EC think Legon can do with one polling station? Did they think about the estimated number of registrants and the number that can register in on day? Ghana is in deep trouble when such incompetence rules with arrogance.

Mr. Amoah in his statement said, they ie the EC did not anticipate the challenge with regards to students at our institutions of higher learning all across after it came to light that potential voters running into thousands upon thousands were on the verge of potentially, being disenfranchised. The follow up question is what kind of thinking went into the decision to site just one registration center at these institutions? Is this the first time the EC is conducting a limited registration exercise since the ushering in of the 4th Republican Constitution in 1992? Based on those exercises conducted in the past, what has been the trend? Does somebody, anybody at the EC know?
How can the NDC and John Mahama speak of having the concerns of the youth at heart, when in cahoots with the EC, it seeks to disenfranchise the same youth by actions or inactions deemed detrimental to the exercising of their constitutional right to self determination in Ghana's current moribund state?
Meanwhile, the register is being bloated senseless in Togo, at our borders, in the neighbouring countries, by the busing in of potential voters whose eligibility could be suspect.
What is wrong paaaa with the EC? What paaaa is wrong with the EC?

It is true that the EC should have anticipated potential challenges, but guys be honest. How many students go to University before 18? Only a small proportion of the Student population would have been 18+ who would not have registered at the last time round! You guys are talking as if the whole uni student population needed to register! There was an election 4 years ago and anyone who was 14 in 2012 is most unlikely to be at university in 2016! Those who were 15,16 & 17 would have been involved in the last limited registration exercise after 2012! Give the EC a break. Its both NDC and NPP trying to register people not qualified that is presenting some of the challenges to the EC.

Is the EC aware of the NDC's stated position of registering Togolese, Ivorians and Burkinabes? If it is aware, will the EC explain if it is the implementation of ROPAA and if it is not, what does the EC intends to do with such voters who manage to get their names on the voters register?
This has become important because Koku Anyidoho and Asiedu Nketia two very notorious individuals very much known for the bloating of the voters register by registering minors, foreigners and discrediting and bastardizing our electoral processes have stated severally, that is what they are doing. Besides, the EC's laws states if a Ghanaian qualifies to register, in the particular polling station of that constituency, he or she must be resident there continuously for at least 6 months, and so what happens to "Asiedu Nketia's voters" he is smuggling into the register to bloat it into nonsense-ness, and how does the EC identify such potential voters for expulsion from the register, if what koku Anyidoho and Asiedu Nketia are doing is not congruent with the law with regards to ROPAA, and those potential voters have not been resident continuously for 6 months as required by law?
