Inasmuch as the various C.I's provides for the punishment of ineligible voters who try to get on the voter roll, it is about time, those individuals in the EC, who are bent on bastardizing the electoral process, rigging the process, to suit a particular party and achieve a certain end, with the active connivance of the Director of Operations of the EC ably supported by the EC Chair and in concert with Regional Directors of the EC, are prosecuted and jailed as well, as the critical first step towards free, fair, transparent and credible elections and to safeguard the peace of this country.
We cannot be talking about faulty machines in 2016 when this was a problem in 2012. We cannot be issuing out voter ID cards on dates when the limited registration exercise had not even begun, thereby creating illegitimate grounds for such voters to be disenfranchised legitimately by the EC. We cannot be dealing with late start of the exercise as a result of polling or registration centers being changed at the last minute without adequate communication to interested parties and stakeholders. We cannot have EC officers going contrary to the timetable of the schedule on when and which registration centers would be involved in the phases of the registration process in a deliberate and consistent attempt to rig the process and we say, it is imperative, such deliberate and criminal conduct of the EC and it's personnel must be punished immediately to safeguard the peace of this country and to address the critical elements of a free, fair, credible and transparent elections.

I am an NDC but will not be happy if your activities as an institution with long standing history of conducting credible elections is questioned by war mongers. Not only that it will create an avenue for trouble makers in npp to jump on your officers and their families and cause bodily harm. So please EC be vigilant on your own officers at the local level that is where the troubles are not at your head office in accra. Thanks
