Michael Essien should remember that he was once a world star. If he's playing has declined he should bow gradually into something else, like coaching or commentary else he should retire completely, the was Stephen Appiah did. He should not be running from one continent to another BEGGING to play.

Michael please retire gracefully. This is becoming too much. You will always be one of Ghana's all time greats. You have done some. Retire and take a year of everything and God will direct you as to what to do with your future outside of football next. You will be very great at helping kids at some level of the sport. Not everyone should go coach a first division club, but you may help kids with their strength and conditioning. You can become a strength and condition coach in a Ghana first division league. Or you can go into business, there's a lot u can do, but please retire. please, please, please wai.

So Essen was 18 years old when he played in the world cup in Germany? Why don't you leave out his 'age' when you write these lazy stories about him so you wouldn't sound so ignorant?
