The immigration services is mandated to decide who enters our territorial boundaries. Once within our jurisdiction it is only the Court that has the mandate to restrict movements of persons outside the country. The immigration service has no power whatsoever to deport, or stop any person who willingly wants to travel outside. Mahama is very naive of the laws..

The party called NPP (New Patriotic Party) should note that elections are won at the POLLING STATIONS. In 2012 we had approximately 26,002 polling stations. After the close of voting all the voting papers were counted and put together: President Mahama got 5.5m votes (approx) and Nana Akufo Addo got 5.2m votes (approx). Ghana did not hear of ballot stuffing (impossible) nor Snatching of ballot boxes. Therefore the NPP is wasting time employing mercenaries to train people to protect Nana Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah. This is a complete loss of focus. What the NPP need to do is to ask their member to go and vote on the election day and to teach them how to thumb print properly. Where there is no proof of ballot stuffing or snatching of ballot boxes before the counting process at the polling stations, the Supreme Court cannot help.

“For us, this will be a landmark election and in our point of view, the future is really at stake. In the last few years we have seen a major decline in economic growth, when we found oil and due to the oil discovery, GDP growth hit 15%. Today growth has slumped to 3.5%. Behind these numbers is an even more worrying development because in a country like Ghana, you expect to see Agriculture doing well at the very least.

“However, Agriculture is almost collapsing. Agric which should be the backbone of the economy is growing at 0.04% as at 2015. Manufacturing growth has also been in the negative for the last 3 years – negative 0.5% in 2013, negative 0.8% in 2014 and negative 2% in 2015. So Agric is collapsing and manufacturing is in the negative and yet our President wants to tell us that our economy is resilient.

“Now I don’t understand what resilient means in this context when you look at all the indicators. How can unemployment be increasing, growth be declining, interest rates be high and rising, your debt levels be unsustainable, your health services are deteriorating, you cannot pay teacher training allowances, you cannot pay nursing training allowances, you cannot pay contractors, businesses are collapsing, utility prices are sky rocketing and yet you are claiming that the economy is resilient? This President is clearly out of touch,” the former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana said.
Dr. Bawumia also mentioned the steep fall of the cedi, which was now hovering around 4 cedis to a dollar, after depreciating from GHC1.2 to a dollar in 2009, the four-year ‘dumsor’ scourge and the government’s unbridled borrowing and resort to high taxes, which had killed many businesses and made production in Ghana unattractive.

President Mahama and the NDC will stay on till 2021 and beyond and see to it that more infrastructure facilities built. Currently the Komenda Sugar Factory, Elmina Fish Processing Factory, CIMAF Cement Factory, GIHOC Shoe factory in Kumasi among others which were all spearheaded by the President Mahama are now employing over 1000 people. JDM is sensitive to our plights and this is why the NDC will continue to be our best option.

Thank God the NPP has vowed to ensure the security of the incoming Akufo Addo Presidency is protected at all cost after it also came to light plans were far afoot to assassinate him in this country by John Dramani Mahama and his NDC goons, triggering the statement from the Vice President for John Mahama and his goons to stop threatening and intimidating his political opponents.
Going by the kind of reasoning given by John Dramani Mahama, it makes perfect sense then, for all the private security companies not to exist in Ghana because political leaders are Ghanaians first and thus their security and that of every Ghanaian must be the responsibility of the IGP first and foremost. There can be no distinction between the two or do we sense an animal farm kind of thinking from John Dramani Mahama? Admit it, you goofed and have embarrassed yourself and further proven you lack the leadership and the competence to lead this country because the verdict is in, and you have lost the 2016 elections. Given that you are the inheritor of a corrupt military dictatorship (Rawlings' PNDC) operating under a constitution written by him (or his lackeys) which, designed to protect him from prosecution for his murderous acts, places all aspects of (legal) security under your control. Why would the NPP trust the party that stole the last election? But your naive response is laughable because your stupidity is so easily circumvented. Mahama should stop confusing himself there is no condemnation about the deportation of the 3 SA. however, it`s unlawful for NDC/BNI disobeying and condemning the judiciary system by taken the power and authority of the law into their own hands by snatching the 3 SA men from the courthouse was ridiculous and unjust to democracy. The 3 SA men should have completed their criminal case in court in facing the subsequent of the aftermath. Then hand them over to the immigration service for their deportation process. The action of the NDC/BNI is detrimental and also puzzling the doubt of coverup of NDC dirty political game or propaganda. mahama should allow every institution to curry the service independently to their expected limitation.
