The money (from the British taxpayer) should be spent on creating an authentic electoral roll. Or it could be used on preventing BNI from interfering with the democratic process.

The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

Therefore,Ghana's Single digit Inflation,11 percent economic growth rate, and becoming a lower middle income Nation,etc,was as a results of former President Kuffour,Osafo Maafo
Dr Acquah Prudent Economic and Financial Policies and Measures put in place for 8 years,that earned Ghana those economic Gains;whether political opponents agree with it or not,that is the plain truth. Therefore, late Atta-Mills only inherited the economic gains from the prudent results of foundations laid by Kuffour's gov't,when he won the Presidential election.It implies that, if any other Candidate had won,say,PNC, CPP or NPP,the economic indicators mentioned above would have registered the Same for that period. But a Akufo Addo(NPP) win could have helped the Country.B'cos there would be some level of CONTINUITY in economic & financial policies and measures to Sustain the gains. It's a surprise to Cite Single Spine Salary( S SS).The implementation of Not Budgeted and well thought through SSS policy by late Atta Mills,for political expediency was the beginning of the Nation's economic owes to erode the Gains previously recorded,etc. Not to talk about the rampant industrial actions for non pymt of Salaries & back pay in arrears, by Labour to this day(medical drs, teachers, nurses,non payment of contractors, collapsed of national insurance,sch feeding prog,etc,etc). And IMF Bailout,eventually.Therefore,
Atta- Mills/Mahama did not contributed any economic and financial sanity, either than mess and general hardships as a results to the table. This comment is without malice, prejudice,or politicalaffiliation,but the Story as it is,or the plain truth.One do not need any academic levels or a master's in the Subject to know the above.
