Accordingly, he was invited by the BNI to assist them in investigation, but as usual the demented man was lying. If you are confused please don't twist history.

The BNI always act lawless under NDC governments and that is not good for politics in Ghana. The NDC is showing the NPP a way to use the state security to abuse political opponents and every good and sensible citizen should condemn this stupid phenomenon. Who knows? But I guarantee you that if a similar instance of Militia activity developed into a really violent and massively fatal incident in Ghana, your Lawyering would not be enough to convince the Population that the BNI was a lawful Institution for failing to preempt and prevent the incident.

As many of George Bush's supporters used to swipe opponents on Guantanamo and Rendition would say: you sit in your luxurious office, enjoying so much freedom that you forget others have to put their lives on line to defend your ass, liberties and life (my paraphrase). Therefore, you must do your due diligence to fairly evaluate the actions of the BNI and our other Security Agencies non-partisanly.

Surely, we do not want to go the way of the CIA Extraordinary Rendition that eventually brought us the 2 Gitmo-freed Yemenis. But we must not leave too much to chance, and hope that only the Courts could protect us from our enemies. Enemies from within are more difficult to defend against than from without. So, learn to appreciate the BNI, even as you offer constructive criticisms on their performance, instead of condemning them to total lawlessness.

You are a Lawyer. So, if you think the BNI is lawless, why don't you take it to Court for reprimand or even dissolution? Was it lawless when we were under Kufuor's Administration? We did not encounter a problem like these under Kufuor. Kufuor never form a Private Militia, nor did he import any foreign Mercenaries to be deal with by the BNI. So, be fair in assessing the BNI.

BNI is made up of people from all spectra of the Ghanaian population so no political nor tribal tendence determines the activies of the outfit.
