HIGHLIGHTS: President Issoufou in his swearing-in address said the people of Niger made their choice in a calm vote and renewing their confidence in him for a second term mandate.
He also used the opportunity to highlight the country’s anti-terrorism fight in the landlocked West African country.
He said Niger is threatened by jihadist groups in the Sahel region to the north and west, and is also the target of attacks by Nigeria's Boko Haram Islamists to the southeast.
"Terrorism is an absolute evil, stressing that as long as terrorism is not eradicated in northern Mali and as long as Libya is not stabilised, we will not be able to sleep in peace" he added

I personally don't have any problem with all thise personalities who attended the swearing in but at least thry shd have voiced their concerns abt the undemocratic nature of the process. It was a dham and fraudulent election!
What a shame!

Baba Kamara and Collins Dauda are all Nigeriens so they went there to witness the swearing in of their president and such people are holding ministerial positions in Ghana are we dummy or what? So don't we have Ghanaians who are qualified for those positions? What love and compassion do you think these people will have for Ghana? The Bible says you can never save two masters, you will be much more loyal to one than the other so do you think these people will direct the location of their fathers residence with their left hand? Ghanaians think about it! No wonder Baba Kamara had the audacity to tell Ghanaians he directed the arrest of Dr Ayo Ani because he has no respect for our laws but respect the laws of his home country Niger. These show of arrogance and disrespectful to our constitution is what Alata Charlotte Osei is also doing, she thinks she can form a committee to advise on our electoral reforms and turn round to disrespect their findings and report because she is not a Ghanaian and doesn't care a hoot about whatever happens , but I can tell her that if she thinks she can send this country to war and run away to Dubai, the plane that she would board with her family will crash whatever means she will use to run away will crash. She can't destroy our country and go, she should do the right thing like the Chief Justice is doing.

A crazy bigot. Let your NPP win power, and then show some balls and deport all Zongo people whether they were born in Ghana or not. Ofui!
