Grant must apologize for bull***t comment - Sam Johnson insists

Ex-Ghana international Sam Johnson has expressed great anger at Avram Grant's decision to withdraw his bull***t comment without apologizing to Ghanaians.

Avram Grant after the Black Stars 3-1 win over Mozambique in Accra called on the country to focus on the game rather than engaged in ‘bull**it’ - a comment which irked several Ghanaians.

The former Chelsea manager on Friday came out to retract the harsh comments but did not apologize to Ghanaians, insisting he never insulted anyone.

And Johnson who urged the FA to deal ruthlessly with Grant has fumed at the former Chelsea manager's decision to withdraw and not render a needed apology.

Johnson believes the withdrawal of the vulgar slang without saying sorry is indicative that the Israeli is not remorseful of his comments.

"We are trying to lose our culture or we have given our culture away. It is not enough," he told Joy Sports.

“Sorry. What is sorry? The cheapest thing on this earth is sorry so if you can’t come out and say sorry, then the withdrawal is not enough.

"Withdrawing your statement is not an apology. If you want to apologize, you use sorry.

"Coming out to say you have withdrawn your statement without saying sorry means you are still standing your grounds."
