Laudable but superstructure with sound foundation means collapse.
Secondly, farmers will be undercut.
Thirdly, the cocoabod will be killed and buried forever in few years
Fourthly, small farmhouses form 90% of the agricultural sector so without cooperatives even farmers will be unemployed with no incentives to produce.
Fifthly, the real agriculture sector is full of subsidies by government for all inputs fertilisers, insecticides, fungicides, etc. So how will government and taxpayers be paid for such investment. Even roads, no warehousing, etc.
6. This is proper only under plantation agriculture. Agriculture is not even scientific in Ghana and so on.
Until these and all other invective is solved I will say just hasten slowly and do the proper homework.
Otherwise, certain individuals will become rich at the behest of farmers and Ghana's rural economy will collapse and cohesion in rural communities will collapse.
We have not solved the land problem either.
There is just too much to grapple with. Go back and do the homework.
Then test the product on pilot basis for some years before it is rollout.
