  This is nothing new. GFA executives collect money from players in Europe to play in the National Team, and the norm really kicked off in the early 1980's when Ghanaian players started the EXODUS. Pay to play was the motto. Sometimes it was gifts such as Watches, Perfumes, Designer clothes and so forth.
