Immigration Authorities have acted on their authority without him, and that is perfect. He was not representing the guys in their immigration case. He can cry all he can, the guys are gone bye-bye.

He wanted to feed them whilst they were under detention by the immigration? What happens if he had poisoned them? Who would have been held responsible? This is a very funny lawyer.

The BAR is not as much NPP-leaning as it once was. And the NPP MP/Lawyer must not be still dreaming of pulling strings to have his cases go his way all the time. There may not be as many partisan Judges that almost always favor their fellow Party leaders as we used to have in the 90s and early 2000s.

Besides, Anas exposed the rot in the Judiciary to put many such Judges on notice, and I don't think they would dare overlook the dictates of the Law, as they are, to rule flippantly to satiate the desires of their Party friends.

Could the NPP not apply for an appropriate visa for them, or legitimize it at least?
I see the possibility of a perceived negative impression threat of Subversive activity.
Legitimizing it without sneaking them under cover of darkness maybe would have watered the whole brouhaha down a bit.

By the way, Is Capt (or Lieutenant) Okai-Koi also going to face the same music or not; otherwise it will be a case of Sabotage or Discrimination towards Capt. Koda.
I'm sure the allegation against them in 1979,prior to the AFRC handing over to theDr Limann's Govt of the Third Republic if my memory serves me right was "Extortion" rather.
