We are under economic shackles all because of NDC incompetent and corrupt government. We had eight years of NPP government and times were certainly better for us than we have found ourselves in under the seven years of GYEEDA,SUBAH,SADA,NSS and least of all Woyome stealling from us a whopping fifty one million.
The NDC and its head corruptible Mahama must give way to the NPP.
At least if I am poor but the sacrifice is giving all children in Ghana some free education then my sacrifice is worth it.
We have nothing to call home and tell mama about in the sad state of Ghana economy. Give us a break Mr.Mahama and your incompetent NDC.

Most of them resigned their jobs to enter 'lucrative politics'. Politics does not belong to such group of people. They would do everything they can to hold on to power, because they would not have any job to do after politics, and they would not be able to use wisely their illegally acquired wealth. People like these must never be allowed into politics again. We would continue to witness such 'koboloi' behavior until the NDC with its 'Koboloi' members are voted out.

Also the fact that somebody has frequented Iraq does not make that person a bad person or a terrorist. How many Ghanaians are in or visit Arab countries, Iran, and China? How would you describe them?

When they have been here before in 2012 for the same purpose. Whoever was at the visa section did his or her work unless the NDC gov't has evidence which the SA gov't doesn't have that, those ex policemen are who they say they are not, which according to the NDC is terrorists and mercenaries.

This public opinion or propaganda trial of these South Africans should stop. It's sad that various NDC ministers in attempt to score political points have been on radio stations making statements which are not in the security and stability interests of the country.

The authorities should go ahead and charge and prosecute these SAs and any enablers as the law permits. Does the govt acknowledge their negligence and ineffectiveness if they should bring up the linkage of Iraq to one of the SAs? Did the govt fail to unearth this information when their visa or work permits were being reviewed by the immigration and other NSAs who are the govt's custodians of Ghana's borders protection?

Please stop these childish statements. Go ahead and charge them, prosecute them and let the citizens live by the precedents set. The people are bound to learn from it than these empty talks.

To close my submission, the administration should deal with the eminent security threat of the Fulanis causing havoc in the Eastern, BA and Northern regions of Ghana. Iraq is far away and one visiting there is no direct threat to the country'.

The activity of training private militia for political expediency is exactly how Boko Haram and other terrorists groups started. Young men were given private military training to protect politicians in Northern Nigeria. After political activities were over, the politicians could not sustain them so they became redundant. Islamic religious ideologies were added to this redundant group and Boko Haram was formed. They were told entry to heaven is based on how many "unbelievers" one can kill to satisfy Allah. They are made to believe falsely that 72 virgins await them in heaven. Now that politicians have stopped financing and sustaining Boko Haram and is even "persecuting" them, they have relocated to Cameroon, Chad and Niger and are being financed by solid terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaida. Boko Haram, a once harmless group is now a monster that accounts for over 20,000 deaths in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
How would NPP finance and sustain their trained militia if they don't win power to recruit them into the normal national security apparatus, the armed forces - army, navy, police, air force and others services? What are his links with other rebel groups in the Middle-East and Maghreb? What were his activities when he visited Ghana still at the request of NPP in 2012? What religious ideologies have their 15 trainees already acquired? The 15 trainees may be trainers for a larger group.
This trend is dangerous and should not be encouraged be it from NPP or NDC or any political group.
Can any reasonable person advocate for private militia just because you support a political party? Can you account for the mayhem this group can visit on this nation if they are not gainfully employed after training?
Charles Taylor and Foday Sankoh all started with private militia yet see the mayhem and pain they inflicted on Liberia ad Sierra Leone respectively.
For heaven's sake, are military uniforms and combat knives necessary for crowd control? Please, let us be farsighted when it comes to national security issues.
For all you know, a terrorist jihadist or rebel group is being formed on our blind side. You and I are not safe.
