When right-thinking members of the Ghanaian society were calling for those minors to be completely expunged from the register, the General Secretary of the NDC party and a known election rigger, was emphatic, these minors should be maintained on the register because he was more than cocksure, those minors would be eligible to vote in 2016. The question is how did the General Secretary of the NDC party and a known and unrepentant elections rigger know all these minors would qualify to vote by the 2016 elections, and therefore, they should be maintained on the register instead of expunging them from the electoral roll and activating punitive measures as prescribed by law in such matters? Did he perchance put them on the electoral roll or cause to be put on the electoral roll, for him to categorically state those minors will all be eligible to vote by the 2016 elections?
The register is not credible and the recommendations of the VCRAC Crabbe committee must be adhered to strictly to ensure free, fair, transparent and credible elections in this country.

His point is that, if someone was a minor (ie, less than 18 years old) in 2012, by 2016, the chances of him/her becoming eligible to vote (ie 18 years or above) are bright since he/she will have grown by 4 years. Is this difficult for you to understand?

No because they are not, repeat not, even supposed to be on the register in the first place and whoever saw to it by allowing Asiedu Nketia who rather interestingly can state emphatically, all those minors are of the same age, of 14 years in 2012 and would all be 18 years in 2016, and so eligible to vote, must face the music with the election rigger Johnson Asiedu Nketia and all those minors expunged from the register. Because for him to state categorically all those minors were 14years and would be 18years by 2016, confirms he led in that exercise of bloating the register with minors of the same age, and he must be picked up.

IDEG and the like are useless institutions living on tax payers money or donations of benevolent trusts. What did they do in Dec 2012 to prevent such under aged voters from voting? Shouting loud without focus.

In 2012, Dr Afari Gyan in a meeting with all the political parties and told them that after the registration there were people who looked like minors on the register and because the EC does not have evidence it ccannot prosecute them and all the political parties agreed that their name should be kept there. In 2016 most of them like would have reached the age of 18, don't waste our time
