You said there are no Asantes among the NDC Cabinet later you mention Agyeman, deputy minister of works and housing who is an Asante and claim he has not say. I guess now you go for cabinet meeting. You know there are Asantes within the NDC.

A breakdown of the whole structure of NDC will prove to that the party is diverse and there is no discrimination. The Founder of the party is an Ewe, the President is an Northern and the Vice President is a fante. Just these three shows people from different background.

Perhaps the gentlemen Boniface G Adagbila ought to be reminded that at the time of the party election at the Tamale congress,there were allegations against Jake pending investigation and such,he couldn't have been voted to carry on as national party chairman.There was no vindictiveness or unfair treatment to him (Jake) or anybody else.

Yes, the NPP did play part either knowingly or not but the major person who caused the death of Obetsebi-Lamptey was himself because he should have known that any group of people that is dominated by Ashantis will never never be comfortable with the presence of the GA PEOPLE.

The NPP minority leader in parliament Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu had said before that a Ga can never be a president in the NPP. He boldly said that confidently, a statement which is of divisive devilish mentality.

The NPP as a party never criticised his awful comment. It was the same NPP secret agreed mindset that motivated and caused Kennedy Agyepong to call for the death of the EWES and the GAS.

The question a wise man would ask is why did Obetsebi align himself with the people who in secret have complex with his tribes men. Obetsebi Lamptey killed hmself. Period.

No, Nii! It is not fair to blame any self-pity Jake might have endured on NPP. The Party was not responsible for his death. If he had been abandoned by the Party when sick, that would have been different. But that was not the case. If anyone suspected that he was resigning into depression, for example, they could have brought the matter up in the inner circles of the Party to find him help. But Jake was never reported to have fallen into depression to alert the Party hierarchy for some concerted effort to help.

As it turned out, the best help Jake could find for his sickness, Leukemia (a form of Cancer), was in the corridors of Healthcare and Medical Providers. And NPP is not any of that.

It is not fair to the Party, at all. The Leukemia that afflicted him could hardly be said to have been caused by the Party. How did the Party give him that ailment?

Similar unfair attribution has been made to the NDC for the death of President Mills, even though we all knew the late President had been battling cancer which he could have developed from his reported lifelong smoking habit. Why are we doing this to ourselves as a Nation?

We have to stop being petty, ungraciously partisan, and illogically factional in our political discourse. It degrades our maturity and undermines our intelligence as a Nation.

We could all disagree on issues every now often. But our disagreements must be rooted in rational concerns and logical mature thought-processes, for which intelligent analyses can be drawn. The practice of manufacturing sources of hate out of nothing against entities we don't like, or we are contesting against, has a self-destructive repercussion that we often fail to notice when it hits us.

We could do better than that, fellow Ghanaians. And Nii knows it too.

Under Mahama we have seen very great developments like the the construction of the New Kwame Nkrumah Circle. We also now have the CHIPS compound scattered all across the country to aid in health care delivery. Water has also been made available to a lot of Ghanaians after the government invested close to 3 billion.

Mahama is not going anywhere, he will be maintained as our President because he has brought us hope and is helping to make Ghana better. Mahama for 2016 and beyond.

What the party thinks about most is how to suspend members, import mercenaries to train their so called security details, and to visit violence on each other. What did the NPP do for Jake after he lost the elections as the Party Chairman. They watched him as his health deteriorated, today they sing praises of him.

Their unfairness contributed to the death of Jake. No youth will join NPP because of how shabbily they treat their members. They will do worst to Ghanaians the very day they assume power.

I guess Akufo-Addo knows that and that is why he seems to have adopted the "All die be die.." mantra to employ all means possible, as just publicly declared by his Spokesperson, on the Security saga going on.

But even so, one may not succeed with all the devious means or tactics at one's disposal. Therefore, Boniface must resolve to learn that lesson as well and pass the wisdom in it on to others behind him.

Chairmanship of the NPP was by the Party's own Constitution attainable via Elections and Jake lost to Afoko cleanly, fair and square. So, why does Boniface wish the Party had done? Throw the results of the Conference Elections away and simply present the Chairmanship to Jake on Silver Platter? How preposterous!

If Jake wanted something from the NPP and he did not get it, it could well have been his own fault, too. Has Boniface thought about that? I, for one, would say, Jake lost the Elections to Afoko because of Jake's submission to the Akufo-Addo faction that had long underhandedly manipulated the Party, including the orchestration of giving unfettered access to the finances of the Party by the Akufo-Addo faction, even for running his campaign in the Primaries.

We all know about how some of the Primary contestants alleged that Jake and Sir John had allowed Akufo-Addo's faction to access the Party's funds for his campaign while the others were prohibited to do so.

It is such perception of corruption by Jake, including the case of the Motorbikes that Kennedy Agyapong claimed to have purchased for the Party that some Acheampong guy, an assistant to Jake, had kept for private distribution to enrich him and a few others that cumulatively did Jake and Sir John in.

So, when Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong won the Elections, there surely was ample reasons for Akufo-Addo's faction to wage a war against them and get them pushed aside. Hence, the current debacle of suspensions and disunity in the NPP.

So, Boniface, don't think all Ghanaians have a short memory, or are too stupid to understand why Jake did not get the Chairmanship.

It is greed, corruption, factionalism and personality cult built around Akufo-Addo that did Jake in. Period. So, tell the truth and stop acting like NPP owed Jake anything.

If it were not for NPP, who would have even known of Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey? The Party did him well under President Kufuor. Jake gained the controversial Government Bungalow on the back of NPP's recognition for pennies on a dollar. How many Ghanaians have had that opportunity to buy Government assets that cheaply?

So, Jake benefited immensely from the Party at some time. And others were deserving of their turn, too. It is that simple.

Boniface has sadly underwritten the longstanding belief that some NPP leaders, like him, think they are entitled to certain positions and benefits just for who they are. Such is the bunch that began treating Akufo-Addo as a President-in-waiting, soon after the Supreme Court Election case verdict.

The Sir Johns, Jakes, and Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr.s of the NPP had always held that notion which undermined the basic tenets of Democracy that the NPP had always claimed to be champions of. These folks saw Akufo-Addo as some divinely anointed lifelong NPP Presidential Candidate who no one dared to challenge.

Therefore, Afoko, Agyepong, Crabbe, Awuni, Nyaho, Wereko-Brobby and many others who dared questioned the eligibility and electability of Akufo-Addo and/or contested against Akufo-Addo are all considered dispensable garbage in NPP by the Akufo-Addo camp. Shamefully so, indeed!!

This is the metaphysical grounding of the woes of the NPP as at now.
