But why should Ghanaians put our destiny in the hands of Nigeria if we have the capacity to provide gas for our own supply? I know about division of labor but it is not expedient here for our safety and security reasons.

It is not a fault with the pipe line, Ghana doesn't have money to pay for the gas from Nigeria, period.

The gas will flow if Ghana pays Nigeria. As it is said in Urdu, "Pesa hai tomasha deko," meaning ...Pay the money and see the dance...as normally demanded by Karachi street dancers.

Why is Ghana is still relying on Nigeria for the supply of gas?Can the nation rely on a country which cannot provide enough electricity and gasoline for its own people?Relying on Nigeria to supply Ghana gas has proved to be economically suicidal and the earlier the government sought alternative reliable sources of gas supply the better.Nigerian can never be relied upon to be a safe supplier of gas to Ghana.

It is in Africa alone that simple things that can just be done with common sense always become a problem and because there is too much stupidity they don't think together to solve the problem but rather turns it to a political football. Nigeria is one country that you can't do any thing sensible with. Why can't we produce our own gass in Ghana and stop wasting precious time with uselessness.
