But I will say that there is no need at all to protest about the uncouth attitude of the Scotland minority MPs. Ghana's laws do not expressly mention homosexuality but frown on "unnatural carnal knowledge", which is defined as penile penetration of any other part of the body except the vagina. Apart from Ghana's laws, the country's culture also frowns on lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders. This is the culture and tradition of our forbearers and the British, our colonial master’s reframed these into our constitution. Our President, on behalf of Ghanaians has vowed to defend the constitution with his blood and life. This stand is non-negotiable and no Scottish element should mess about the sanctity of this fact. Let us rise above this low level attitude, moral bankruptcy and unintelligent behaviour exhibited by these MPs and demonstrate to them that we as Ghanaians are capable of handling our own issues by treating their behaviour with the contempt it deserves. It will rather send a strong signal to the world about our maturity as Ghanaians rather than the protest my learned friend is suggesting. Just snub them. I am happy about the term of Malik Baako used for these societal deviants: “Lunatics” of the highest order.
