Grant names squad for AFCON 2017 qualifier

Black Stars head coach, Avram Grant has named a 23-man squad for the upcoming double-header AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mozambique.

Ghana will host the Mambas on Thursday, March 24 at the Accra sports stadium for the first leg tie before enplaning on Monday for the return leg.

Grant’s squad has some few surprises with the exclusion of captain Asamoah Gyan who has returned from a groin injury and the inclusion of defender Ofosu Aryee and the returning goalkeeper, Adam Kwarasey.
