The very people who paid and sponsored controversial and one-sided research for fame and power are the same people who cleverly crafted God and Jesus are white when in fact all evidence had suggested that the black race was on this earth for over 250,000 years before the albinos became a race.
Can the creator look like the original man or he'd rathe look like those came out of the original man?
Most Ghanaian pastors would rather demean the black race with white god that was created out of "white supremacy".
Some invite white preachers who are more ant ichristian in values for conventions, all in an effort to fool our people.
Jesus is "white", and I have a white pastor friend therefore I must be very important pastor so therefore believe me.
THESE CON GAMES IS ALSO IMPORTANT for Otabil to tackle as our people are lacking SELF CONFIDENCE from all leadership to the lowest Africans as they CAN NOT see themselves in the BIBLE which is in fact full of them.
ALL HEBREWS ARE BLACK. And all wars against them were from the white race from the Romans and Assyrians.

Your disagreement to what he said is based on the fact that Christians are made to believe, generally in a white Jesus and since it is the same white man who says God does not exist then why should we not believe that. But Elinam, If you have taken pains to listen to Ps Otabil over the years, you'd have known that he does not subscribe to the view that Jesus is white. That also does not mean that you should not deal with white people. Open your eyes and ears, watch and listen carefully and you'd learn.

Since their beginning, man has always been man, dogs dogs and cats cats. They will never change into another animal. Mutations in the DNA of any creature always produces an inferior version. the greater the mutation, the weaker the organism until it dies out. There are so many problems with your statement. For the same reason you believe in any historical character you've never met, believing in Jesus of Nazareth is as real as anyone else. One does not have to meet them personally in order to believe in them. Many historians of the day wrote about him, his miracles and that he rose from death, just as he predicted. There were plenty of eye witness accounts of his birth, life and death that anyone not believing in these historical facts is simply diluting themselves. Besides, how can you explain our conscience (con = with and science = knowledge) that convicts mankind all over the world of breaking any of the 10 commandments. Lying, for example is not something learned as a child, but comes naturally because we are all sinners whether you believe it or not. One day you and I will face God for our judgment and will become completely guilty of all our sins against him and be given the ultimate sentence in hell, whether you believe in him or not is completely irrelevant just like any criminal who doesn't believe in the electric chair. Repent and believe in Jesus who died for your sins and will pass on his righteousness in exchange for your wretchedness.

To think that any THEORY (that's all it ever is) can suddenly be refuted in the future leaves us hanging dangerously. This is enough proof that science has no credibility at all regardless of any so-called strides that have been made. The theory of evolution is based on solid proven, descent with modification and natural selection. All organisms past and present, have a common ancient ancestor, archaebacteria because all organisms use the same genetic code for the synthesis of all proteins from the 4 nucleotides: A,T,C,G. Glycolysis is a common initial process in all cells harnessing energy. All organisms use the same 9 enzymes for the process. Also consider keratin is a protein found in fish scales, claws and hair. Different animals have the same genes for keratin. Evolution is true but religion is based on faith, imagination propounded by ignorant ancient human ancestors. The creation story in the bible is an ancient jewish fairy tale. God has nothing to do with the Big Bang theory so don't try to claim a scientific theory as God. Otabil is ignorant and he must read Astronomy and evolutionary biology before he tells these lies.

The Christian Bible says that in the beginning God said "Let there be light" Genesis 1:3. However this turned out to be false. The universe was opaque to visible light (non-transparent) and photons couldn't travel at all. After the Big Bang the universe was primarily Hydrogen, Helium and a tiny bit of Lithium. However when a gas is too hot it becomes ionized (loses the electrons) and becomes opaque (like today's smoke). In the beginning the universe was opaque to visible light (non-transparent). After 380,000 years the? universe cooled enough and it became transparent to visible light. For other wavelengths it was opaque for a billion years. So "Let there be light" turned out to be false.

How could an illiterate man who lived 1400 years ago have known that it was just smoke after the Big Bang?

Yes, astronomers cannot see back to the instant of what is theorized to be the “Big Bang”, but earlier this month the United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced the so-far farthest seen galaxy in our universe. Known as GN-z11, that galaxy, in the direction of the constellation Ursa Major, is 13.4 billion light years away.

Now, of course everyone who engages in this conversation will remember from their “Introduction to Science” class that light travels at 299,792,458 meters PER SECOND! Given that there are 60 seconds in one minute and 60 minutes in one hour and 24 hours in one day and (approximately on average) 365.25 days in one year, then light travels the truly mind boggling distance of (60*60*24*365.25 = 31,557,600 * 299,792,458 meters) 9,460,730,472,580,800 meters in one year! Now, multiply that number by 13.4 billion years and you get the astronomical distance of the so-far-farthest-seen galaxy of 126,773,788,332,583,000,000,000,000 meters away! That is 126,773,788,332,583,000,000,000 kilometers and approximately equivalent to 78,773,580,000,660,300,000,000 (78 sextillion 773 quintillion 580 quadrillion 660 billion 300 million, or about 78.8 to the 21st power) miles away. Now, that is very far away indeed and our GOD-GIVEN INTELLIGENCE has allowed us to develop the technology to discern these distances. But there is absolutely nothing in the Big Bang Theory (that is, what exactly might have happened approximately 13.8 billion years ago, or, 400,000 years further back in time than we are able to see now) that precludes what philosophers term a “Prime Mover” and what theologians term “God”. Something had to get the ball rolling. Our powers of deductive logic, powers which we employ every single day, tell us that logically something had to start things off. Atheists claim that the Big Bang Theory supports their claim that there is no God, but St. John Paul II, as well as myriad other theologians more thoughtful than Mensa Otabil, as well as millions of lay religious, have seen that science has not, nor has it ever attempted to, disprove the existence of God. Science merely states that, deductively and through direct observation, this and that has and/or must have happened. Science DOES NOT say what science does not know!

As for Darwin’s book “On the Origin of Species” (colloquially referred to as the Theory of Evolution), it is similarly attacked as being antithetical to ancient Near Eastern nomadic oral traditions on the origins of life. Again, nothing could be further from the truth. The theory of evolution merely states that there must be a logical explanation for the observable variations in extant forms of life. Darwin, while sojourning in the Galapagos Islands in the early 1830’s, noticed variations in the shapes of the beaks of finches (birds) from one island to another, that the available food varied from one island to another, and that the feeding behavior varied between the finches of one island as against the finches of other islands. This wasn’t rocket science: it was mere observation. Longer beaked birds tended to puncture the local cactus to eat the fleshy pulp surrounding seeds whereas shorter beaked birds tended to tear at the flesh of the cactus to eat pulp and insect larvae. There were many observable variations apparent to Darwin (and, incidentally, which are still observed there today) among these finches as well as among other life forms

Charles Darwin made his observation in 1832, his theories coalesced in 1839, and he published in 1859. He wrote: “The most striking and important fact for us in regard to the inhabitants of islands, is their affinity to those of the nearest mainland, without being actually the same species. [In] the Galapagos Archipelago... almost every product of the land and water bears the unmistakable stamp of the American continent. There are twenty-six land birds, and twenty-five of these are ranked by Mr. Gould as distinct species, supposed to have been created here; yet the close affinity of most of these birds to American species in every character, in their habits, gestures, and tones of voice, was manifest.... The naturalist, looking at the inhabitants of these volcanic islands in the Pacific, distant several hundred miles from the continent, yet feels that he is standing on American land. Why should this be so? Why should the species which are supposed to have been created in the Galapagos Archipelago, and nowhere else, bear so plain a stamp of affinity to those created in America? There is nothing in the conditions of life, in the geological nature of the islands, in their height or climate, or in the proportions in which the several classes are associated together, which resembles closely the conditions of the South American coast: in fact there is a considerable dissimilarity in all these respects. On the other hand, there is a considerable degree of resemblance in the volcanic nature of the soil, in climate, height, and size of the islands, between the Galapagos and Cape de Verde Archipelagos: but what an entire and absolute difference in their inhabitants! The inhabitants of the Cape de Verde Islands are related to those of Africa, like those of the Galapagos to America. I believe this grand fact can receive no sort of explanation on the ordinary view of independent creation; whereas on the view here maintained, it is obvious that the Galapagos Islands would be likely to receive colonists, whether by occasional means of transport or by formerly continuous land, from America; and the Cape de Verde Islands from Africa; and that such colonists would be liable to modification;—the principle of inheritance still betraying their original birthplace.”

What Darwin is saying is that there is a logical explanation for these variations, that we need only look and we will find the answers. Nothing in his theory suggests that God wasn’t the Originator of any species. In fact, Darwin was a deeply religious man.

Any deep-thinking individual cannot fail but to see that we have a God-given gift of logic, and that there are logical answers all around us to questions long thought to be in the realm of the purely mystical. 500 years ago the Catholic Church condemned Galileo for proposing that we live in a Sun-centered solar system rather than an Earth-centered universe. The Church was wrong, of course, and Galileo’s observations and insights laid the initial groundwork for our use of cell phones (satellite-bouncing signals) today. What was once thought to be anathema to theology, to be witchcraft, is known today to be ordinary science. Medical practitioners once thought malaria was caused by stinky air (‘mal aria’ in Italian). Where would we be today if we failed to investigate that which is investigable? We would still be living in caves!

Albert Einstein, arguably the 20th Century’s greatest scientist, upon whose insights from his Special (1905) and General (1915) Theories of Relativity all modern astrophysics emanate, once wrote: “The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.”

Those like Pastor Mensa Otabil who fear the use and exercise of the human mind, rather than preserving traditional Christianity are instead denying God’s greatest gift to mankind: our ability to reason, to discern, to think, to pass on to subsequent generations the insights and discoveries we have made through our own struggles and sacrifices – so that our scions won’t have to equally struggle or sacrifice. Mensa Otabil and his ilk would seemingly have us return to a more brutish existence, one where we would be punished for attempting to advance human understanding of the natural world and natural phenomena, one where we would be jailed for acknowledging that the earth revolves around the sun and not the universe around the earth, one where we would be subject to the tortures of an auto-da-fé (burning alive at the stake) for disputing received wisdom.

The Big Bang Theory and the Theory of Evolution DO NOT dispute the existence of God. They describe what has been observed and offer the (so far) only logical explanations for those observed phenomena. There is nothing in either theory to suggest that God isn’t behind each one, that God isn’t the Prime Mover.

Man during that time differentiated himself from nature, created his own illusions and for three thousands years ago saw one of his creation religion to be just and opium for the masses. During the past five thousand years man has transformed himself from a grass and fruit eating animal to an animal that hunted an ate other animals. That process lead to the shrinking of the intestine of man from three chamber to two chamber.
Man's greatest achievement is the transformation himself from just an animal to a force of production, creating various aspects of endeavour of which religion remains the most unproductive of all.
During the process of evolution in society man created the supernaturals not that the supernaturals created man. Man has been able to excavate animals that date back to 100 million years before his own ancestors appeared on Earth in the form of a small monkey. Man has been in existence for the past 2 million and five hundred thousand years and religion and God was created by him five thousand years ago, when he himself then became a reasonable animal. So it is not that monkeys or apes turned into humans. If you take a population of apes there will be some that had the ability of standing and also possess certain abilities the others did not have. A change in the environment eg. a new predator, weather, type of food etc could result in the dead of all others except the ones with these genetic traits. These then survive and pass on their genetic traits to their young ones. This theory has been tested and it seems to work. Dr. Otabil should read about how Galileo through science disproved the bible and the popular belief of the church then by supporting the model that the sun is at the centre of the universe as against the model believed by Christians based on the bible that the earth is at the centre of the universe and all orbit around it.

Notwithstanding the existence of some few false scientific theories, science has portrayed more logic,objectivity and truism than the Bible and has been at the forefront of all matters in our world . Can you explain how in Christianity you claim Jesus was born in a manger because there was no room at the inn when there were no inns in those days? Can you explain why in Christianity you have pictures of saints, when there were never paintings of these men? Can you explain how the gospels in the bible was recorded when these saints never had anyone recording their travels and speeches? Need I go further, Otabil? The problem with many of us humans is that instead of following our religious beliefs and worshipping the way we choose, we rather embark on a path of condemnation of others religions, way of worshipping or lack of, or scientific theories that go contrary to our religious teachings and upbringing. Eat and enjoy your food, but allow others to eat their food which may differ from yours. Perhaps Christian and Muslim crusaders have not completely relinquished their past escapades. Christians, Muslims, and non-believers should be able to practice what they believe in, but should have the courtesy to allow others to hold their opposing views so long as those views are not being forced down the others' throats.

condemnation of what people believe about God and therefore tantamount to comments of this nature. Finally I want to suggest that we must not try to disassociate Science from Religion since many Great Scientists have succeeded due to their association with Religion.
All the same, I believe in freedom of choice for either believing or disbelieving in the Almighty God since either has an immeasurable consequences with God. God is working and Satan too is working but God's Work supersedes all.
