Look here you damned fool. Would you voluntarily go and sit in a truck that has been used to cart rubbish or silt from the Korle Lagoon? What is the matter with some of you people? In any case, do you not know that it is illegal, to carry people in the bucket of trucks or are you not sufficiently educated to know this too? Ah! You are so backward and primitive that of course you would not find it insulting to sit in the bucket of trucks.

THE JOURNALISTS SHOULD HAVE RESPECTED THEMSELVES. THE WHOLE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA COULD NOT FIND A BUS FOR JOURNALISTS

Of course we need the news out there, but who makes the money, the papers and radio. Interestingly, they want the state to be the NGO sponsoring their profit making businesses and when there are lapses they are quick to make the noise. I am fedup with you. After watching the clips from 'Hotel Rwanda', 'Sometime in April' I sometimes question the mindset of some journalists in the way the conduct themselves.

Ghanaian journalists are simply too cheap, unintelligent and poor to speak their minds and this is a pity.
I bet that if Mahamas people had brought a push-truck from the Agbogbloshie market and asked them to sit on it to perform their tasks at the Black Star Square, they would have promptly obliged.
The last time they were asked to follow Mahama around in a ramshackle tro-tro which crashed and killed one of them whilst others were severely injured. They have been continuously and incessantly been abused and misused by this particular Mahama govt and others before him but these journalists continue to remain dumb.
When they were being thrown into the trucks at the Black Star Square didnt it strike any of them that at the very least it was illegal to transport human cargo in the buckets of trucks?
Didnt it strike these dumb journalists that with foreign dignitaries in attendance at the 59th Independence celebrations, the event would very likely be televised live or delayed in other countries and that this way of treating Ghanaian journalists would belittle their image in the eyes of the world?
After being openly maltreated like this in the view of all, why should even us ordinary Ghanaians respect our journalists who seem to allow politicians and powerful people in society to push them roughly about at will?
As for the GJA they should just shut up! They idly sit there and all these unfortunate things happen to their members and all they do is to hypocritically come out after the event to shed crocodile tears. They could not even rally their members to get stern action to be taken against Satan Dogbe for inflicting terrorist action on one of their members.
It seems to me that the more self-respecting members of the media should disentangle themselves from this 'paid and bought' GJA and form another association that would ensure first of all that media practitioners are paid well across-board and that their collective performance is improved and that they are respected by the public for whom they work.

How can you ride in a car or bus to cover any event? Sorry for riding in the tipper truck, you should have walked for the coverage and that would have served you right. What at all in this world can satisfy Ghanaians?
