I wish to set the records straight to our peace loving Ghanaians regarding the chietaincy dispute in Bunkpurugu. father of Louk is called Nyan who gave birth to both Jafoak and Jamong. the facts Nyan was never install chief, Jafoak and Jamong were also not install chief. Non of Jafoak, Jamong and their children were never install chiefs neither do they Know Bunkpurugu. Its is Jamong Son Toojaak Jamong who first settle in Bunkpurugu and Became the elder and of Bunkpurugu Village. Abu's grandfather Kpong was invited by Jamung to treat his Junior brother Yoagbat was sick afterwards Jamung brought him to bunkupurugu and gave him one of his brothers house to occupy. He also gave a large portion of land to farm.Kpong is the father of ABu GrandfatherParimack who claimed was the chief of Bunkpurugu was summon before opionion leaders at Nayiri palace in 1931 where a memorandum of understanding was sign all the said opinion in cluding Parmack that Toojak was the one who settle in Bunkpurugu first and elder of the said village hence owner of the land and that Jamong was the only royal family, therefore Yoagbat Toojack was installed Parmount chief of Bunkpurugu.This document has been tended in court which spark the attacks of Jafoaks on Jamong. Back to the naration, Jamung Toojak (Toojak son) became the first Chief of Bunkpurugu and ruled for 128years during the German Togo land. after him Yoagbat Tojaak was installed as metion above after him Libaktib Nyankpen of Jamon family was intalled but with some military disturbance in attempt to install Tapang Lambon of Jafoak which was resisted. The Naayiri later used same military to installed Tapang Lambon in 1986 after after the death of Libakitib Nyankpen. Jamong family went to court. The matter was pending in court and Tapang lambon pass on but ungarzetted. The Naayiri Admitted the installation of Tapang Lambon was a mistake and will be corrected. The Jamong's were thunderstrucked when he Naayiri told them jhe was giving them a strager. who was that stranger? his own nephew Abuba Nasinmong. The Jamong's did not resort to war but peacefully went to court. The question is why is ABuba and his men attackiing killing and burning the houses belonging to Jamong's? if he knows he was legally installed he should stop the attack. The substantial is is that, Chieftaincy has to do with inheritance and from the above narration Non of Abuba's Grandfather or father was ever installed chief in bunkpurugu so whose stool is he seating on? The Jamong's are saying is their turn to rule they are court to claim what belong to them. the Jafoaks are not royals and they have no single document either from regional or national house of chiefs to support their claim to the throne that is why they resorted to war to wipe Jamong's from Bunkpurugu. tha Jamong's have whole pile of evidence in court.
