It is very bad. They just being deceptive. My unit price per 1000 litre jumped from 1.78 to 5.07 between December and January. I don't know what awaits me in february

This is outrageous. How much do an average Ghanaian take home at the end of the month. Water 130 cedis and electricity 90 cedis. Ghc220.00 per month why? Do we work only to pay utilities alone.

This has to stop we paid 190 cedis last month no arrears,only for them to come with new of 230 cedis. The pipe too is not coming.i have also decided not to paid.

If you have problems go to GWCL for it to be resolved. We like calling government government too much. Last month end I was reimbursed some money by the company.

The bills are too much. Previously i used to pay water bill of 64 cedis every month in sakumono estates. When December bill was brought it indicated i had to pay 105 cedis. January bill came and it is 130 cedis, mean while my wife and i do not use much water. GWCL is cheating on us. Some areas in Accra pay less but those staying in estates are made to pay for those in other areas.

The old water tariff categories of 0-20cub m & +20 cub m have been changed to 0-5cub m & +5 cub m. The rates have also increased bcoz GWCL wants it so thereby pushing us to the wall. GWCL must check their sources and distribution pipelines as required by law for contamination and defects which allow STRANGE things to get into them and then to our houses. They must recover the debt Govt MDAs and others owe them and stop forcing us to pay. Our generally low monthly income is very much overstretched.

I live at Akorem,Kumasi and d rate per unit of water consumed used to b Gh1.7800 bt dis month it unbelievably rose to Gh5.07 ....pls som one do d mathematics fr me.....Dis can not b accepted....We nid to rise up against it.
