my mother own several businesses
she hired Sue, a European (manager) to run one of her business on Beef Island, BVI
Sue opened a restaurant (exact menu) on Beef Island too
Tourists came to my mum restaurant to eat
While Sue was serving, she told the guests about her restaurant several blocks away from my mum
My mum found out
She fired Sue
Sue wanted to sue
Why? because my mum said "you can't be working for me and competing with me - Its call conflict of interest"My mum business was "blooming" or as they say "Tourists can't done"
Sue felt the pressure because no one was eating at her restaurant
What Sue did? Sue posted flyers about my mum (lies and more lies) Her aim was to take my mum down. Why? Envy and Grude. . . . All for the love of money
What happened to Sue? Instant Karma got her
Sue now wants to come back and work for my mum
My mum was like "hahahahahahahahaha grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin They all going to laugh at you
Moral of the story Hmmmm, . I'll leave it up 2 U

This is a factual statement by a good statesman who sense of patriotism is never in doubt.A good measure of the horrific situation of indiscipline and incompetence is the state of the GHS when Prof Akosa was DG and currently under Dr.Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira.Unfortunately for Ghana as a sovereign state majority particularly public officers hide behind politics to cover their iniquities including crass corruption and incompetence since we virtually politicize everything including issues of national development. One of the major glaring floor putting the managerial ability of Appiah Denkyira into question as DG is when he straight away sacked a young doctor at Effia Nkwanta hospital in less than a month of assuming post as DG based on hear-say rather than the facts on the ground.A letter signed by Appiah Denkyira and copied to then Health Minister Alban Bagbin claimed the doctor was suffering from a 'possible delusional disorder' and was going to remain indefinitely suspended without salary until he complies to compulsory treatment. In order to denounce a credible previous report exonerating the doctor of any mental illness but instead charged authorities to be fair in their dealings with him,Appiah Denkyira coin the phrase 'further psychiatry assessment in connivance with the mischievous Chief Psychiatrist, Akwasi Osei who was ill advising him to victimize the young doctor in support of cronies in the western region.Evidence of atrocities and inhuman treatment at GHS meted out to the doctor by Dr.Paul Ntodi the medical superintendent of Effia Nkwanta hospital who wanted him out of the hospital because of an acrimonious relationship were ignored to callously victimize him.Dr.Ntodi's hatred for him was because he was outspoken against massive corruption in that hospital that needlessly kill patients at the expense of greedy management illegally enriching themselves. For a DG to ignore all these and proceed to sack the doctor smacks of corruption and insincerity on his part.It is obvious he had one singular agenda getting rid of the young doctor from the GHS to cover corruption when he assumed the post of DG.A fact pointing to this was that he never gave the young doctor any audience or listening ear.He deliberately avoided meeting him several times the young practitioner went to his office until he signed a letter indirectly sacking with a false accusation without bases in less than a month in office. For a DG to dubiously incriminate and sack a public officer he has never set eyes on only indicate how low our public institutions under incompetent hands have sank.A sophisticated corruption network has tightly covered Appiah Denkyira and the GHS in a case of gross abuse and inhuman treatment when the doctor took his case to the Human Rights Court. The AG has connived to gag up the case in court with lawyers of the doctor lobbied and bribed out to cover this crass corruption and shameful act by the hierarchy of GHS.The dangerous thing about systemic institutional paralysis in Ghana is that relevant law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies are deep neck in condoning and conniving in all manner of corruption, mismanagement and indiscipline in our public institutions.Worse more is the fact that political leverage, political lobbying and protection other than competence, experience and moral integrity have become a huge yardstick in high profile appointments and position of responsibility.Dr.Ntodi often accused the young doctor of being an NDC sympathizer and a Rawlings boy reporting him to bigwigs in Accra.Today it is the same NDC in government the hierarchy of GHS as a government organization is using to protect itself in this shameful act of political cum tribal victimization of the young doctor.Dirty partisan politics under the guise of professionalism and neutrality in civil service is what is killing our public institutions.
