Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

Not only is the credibility of John Mahama in tatters, it has gone up in smoke. It has literally evaporated, and nothing is there. It is gone, like pooffff in a puff of smoke.
The question however remains. John Dramani Mahama says he is undertaking infrastructure projects in this country. Those projects as well as the artistic impressions(sic)captured in the NDC Green book, as stated by Dr. Bawumia could never be more than $7billion dollars. John Mahama has however accumulated a debt of a little over $37billion dollars. Ghanaians want to know the cost of those projects John Dramani Mahama says he is undertaking in this country so we can reconcile the figures, because those projects cannot be more than $7billion dollars. So where is the rest of the $30billion dollars? This is the credibility deficit of John Mahama, Koku Anyidoho is cocksure is in tatters, because John Dramani Mahama cannot provide that figure. This question about reconciliation of the figures is however on the ballot. It is an election issue and John Mahama must answer. Where is the $30billion dollars?

The US govt without mincing words said the Govt of Ghana did not receive any monetary support in relation to the Gitmo detainees. Moreover the US govt said they will aid Ghana's security forces in monitoring the 2 reformed detainees.

However with respect to the state of the nation address, our president is certainly go to tell us about the progress which has been made in the various sectors. He has done a good job so far by ending the shift system in our basic schools, completed the 15,000 capacity cape coast stadium all in the space of 4 years and come NOV 7, he will be given the nod to continue the good work he has started.

I am of the earnest view that we are on the right path under the leadership of president mahama.

Odikro, I don't know your age but it is just unfortunate that the young ones like you have no clue as to the unprecedented corruption records under the NPP.
Even their own Dr Agambilla , former deputy minister of finance under the NPP described the their system of politics and governance as procurement politics in the books he wrote when he left office.
Such concoctions about the NDC are just political propaganda and we must not be blinded by the utterances of the NPP and its cohorts. Ghanaians are discerning and they know the NPP has nothing better to offer Ghanaians

We build this government. Building houses for offices is not what we elected John Mahama.
Concreting the country with white elephants is not governing.
This is the only President who thinks putting together bricks and mortar make that building a Hospital or Library.
Empty buildings without chairs, beds or equipments can not be call a Hospital or a library.
The state of the nation is nothing but people suffering.
NDC members should get rid of John Mahama and get a new one who can feed the nation.

How many people died between a lorry carrying tomatoes and a Metro bus. That is the state of the nation where a driver and his mate plus 70 people died on a road where everybody know it accident prone.
Ghanaians should open their eyes and see it is not possible to put 70 people in one Metro bus.
Where is the road and safety in Ghana. Let continue remaining John Mahama the state of our nation is nothing less than John Mahama killing people.
Why should government be paying for the injury of passages in a Metro bus. The metro company should be paying them from the company insurance.

Shall we advise our high school graduates to carefully make gud choices as far as course selection in our tertiary institutions are of concerned. We cannot continue training more students in de social sciences n do away entrepreneurial oriented programs. We really need to advice our young one's to develop de interest in doing programs dat can help establish themselves. Let's minimize de perception of white colour job n focus on agriculture. For God sake, we are in Africa, a tropical zone full of gud fertile land n natural resources. Why should we den be adopting much from de whites. Its a shame. Let's rise n build Mother Ghana with our entrepreneurial skills.
