This is clearly the beginnings of dictatorship and authoritarianism by elements who feel and are predisposed to unaccountability and impunity.
In the 50's Nkrumah had such tendencies and envisaged ruling the whole of Africa.
This is the rebirth and the introduction of a police state, as pertains to the hermit kingdom of North Korea, ruled by occupants of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun by the Kim Jong Un's of this World.
Such bills have wide appeal in countries like Cuba, North Korea etc, etc where narcissists elements thrive on subjugation, suppression and repression of the citizenry and the curtailment of their freedoms and civil liberties and dissension against the status quo of rottenness.
This bill is a harbinger of a dictatorial-autocratic-kleptocracy by elements who have failed the governance test and afraid of their shadows and it must not pass.

This is going back to the PDA act of the Kwame Nkrumah Government. The Mahama administration has already disregarded a few aspects of the !992 Constitution. It is obvious that they see the guarantees within the constitution as a limitation on how they wish to rule this country. In time freedom of speech will be curtailed and gradually this country will become a police state. Even a one-party is possible. This Government has a problem with criticism.

What are they afraid of ? Only those who believe their activities are contrary and subversive will kick against such a law been implemented. When we praise the Western Countries for solving problems , sometimes curbing an impending crisis before ir happens what did they think was in place to. Recent, U.S. Security arrested a Ghanaian for purchasing online, and from shops huge amount of fire arms intended for shipment into Ghana ? Was it by design or by mistake ? The law allowed them to . I say go for it, if you believe in yourself, if your heart and mind are clean, why fear the law ? The fear of the law is really the beginning of wisdom and to me there has been too much indiscipline, murders , corruption and many other evil that if Christ was looking down on Ghana today, he will know it's worse now than before and the law must be passed to safe lives, to put sanity and discipline in place. Media can go to hell.

This maha government and his bunch of corrupt MP's lacked wisdom. Why on earth do they even think of eaves dropping on its citizens when citizens are suffering to due to their incompetent policies and lack of proper institutions. Ghanaians should rise up and smell the roses corruption and lack of accountability equals lack of development and suffering for the masses. Arise Ghana and claim your country. Let your vote counts despite government interference with electoral process vote them out. In life if you keep doing what you do all the time you will never get better. Change is good vote them out in November elections.

I dont support evedropping bill. But terrorism is not dur to poverty. check out everywhere there is a terror attack you will find out that, the culprits commanded their victims to recite portions of the islamic quran failure upon which the victim is shot. So what and who is behind these killings. Reports also indicate that the terrorist are mostly from the arabian countries. Their beef is that islam shd be the only religion for the world as pointed by the quran itself BUT this is not happening. If moslems read the bible they invariably convert to christianity. They also see that, someone stole information from the bible claiming that they are sent down by God.
