Everything is going wrong in Ghana, under the corrupt and incompetent John Mahama's presidency; the heavens have shut its doors of blessings to Ghana and that is things continue to fall apart for our dear nation. The kinds of corrupt, thievery and murder that is going on attests to all facts. We can only redeem ourselves from the wicked and evil-doers by voting massively in the November 7 elections against John Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt. That's the only solution!

The Electoral Commission's independence is actually being used as an excuse for doing exactly what the framers of the constitution wanted to prevent.

The framers were aware that government of the day could abuse its incumbency to interfere in electoral matters to make it easier for it to rig elections. As a result, they made the EC independent in order to prevent the government from doing so.

What is happening in Ghana today is the opposite. The NDC government is intimately in bed with the EC and the so-called "independence" is being used against all the other stakeholders in favour of the incumbent. Do we need another 100 years to rule ourselves as Donald Trump said? What a shame!

President incompetent –in-chief, may I remind you that even the cost of branding inter-cities buses with your pictures was so over quantified that your sector minister has to resign on this issue. Again, have too soon forgotten the bloated cost of construction Kumasi Airport runway?
The fact is your administration is noted for cost augmentation, especially on construction projects. Therefore, there is no beef if questions are being raised on projects undertaken by your administration

I thought Wayongo is the only stupid minister to head the interior ministry, not knowing, there are many like him lined up there.

Reverend, you are spot on right. The dissolution of these groups is a must and the parties involved should obliged to do so as a pre-qualification for participation in the 2016 elections (before, during and after). They are the disgruntled few who foment troubles for the peaceful majority.

I do not agree with the position of the Interior Minister Designate.I only hope that when he ascends the seat he would follow the steps of Courage Quarshigah (of blessed memory) when he said the picture is different from afar.

Emmanuel Asante has spoken against party vigilante groups as posing threat to our security, it's a good observation but if the respected reverend minister wants peace in Ghana then he has to work towards bringing fairness into our electoral system The kind of mistrust that the Ec is building is what poses threat to this nation this election year but strangely the reverend prof and his peace council has kept quiet Indeed if there is transparency and fairness the vigilante groups may exist but become redundant because there will be no pretext for them to act so prof turn your attention to the EC AND POLICE
