.....IS ISLAM A RELIGION OF PEACE?.If Muslims have problems with traditional authorities in Tafo, why did they attack Christian churches. Mahama sees all these yet he will not condemn them. The last time, Muslims burnt down a christian Mission house in Atebubu and that one too he did not condemn it. Muslims went on demonstration in Takoradi for equal right in Christian schools and that one attracted condemnation from Mahama against Christian missionary schools. Why is it so? Is it because Mahama sees christians as too docile to be respected?..

Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year 2015,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM.

“The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.

“When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

Whenever there is a riot in a community, some casualties are suffered. The case of churches getting burnt in Tafo is not a deliberate act to stimulate religious violence. A Muslim mosque was equally destroyed

In various instances where members of the Islamic community have fallen short of the law, the President has been quick to scold them. He has on several occasions called on the Cheif Iman to intervene and speak with the Muslim youths.

Ghana is a peaceful country and for years now Muslims and Christians have lived in peace, the current issues are very unfortunate and measures are being taken to solve them.

I am not sure which advisory role she is playing but any role in the absence of more intelligent, competent, learned, more qualified people to give this government an advice has led to the deteriorating condition in Ghana and the nation going backward since Mahama and NDC took over the reigns of government in Ghana. Napo insisted of checking the documents to compare with what IMANI provided which Kwaaku Baako had in his possession. He refused to give them to Napo but Napo instisted. Only to have no signatures and yet he was defending seriously I dnt know why he is still the deputy.

Again, NPP is hanging onto hearsay to make its case. One Napo claimed the report doesn't appeared to have a signatures so therefore NPP has enough fact to go to press.

The current issue is not about corruption, is about Afriwave being give a monopoly to control activities within the telcoms. This contract actually went through a tendering process and government had no hand in who gets it.

Mahama as a President has never supervised a situation of create, loot and share. He is the only President to have instigated investigations into his own appointees. He has also introduced measures that makes it difficult for his appointees to cheat the system. For those of his appointees who he found capable, he has directed the A.G to deal with them.

Clearly the President is fighting corruptions and in November 7th, Ghanaians will reward him for his diligence.

The Minister was never exposed, i listened to the program and Imani proved to be a bomb. It is shocking that Imani, an International Think Thank of great repute failed to conduct proper research before coming out with their findings.

According to Imani they claimed they have a report signed by the chair man of the tendering committee. The truth is that most of these documents are not signed by the Chair instead by members of the committee. IMANI must therefore prove that the report they have is original and that was what the Minister of Communication asked of them. IMANI till now has not shown us how authentic their report is.

Clearly IMANI is out to run down government and they are using an Afriwave deal which has no merit. They keeep going back and forth on this matter with their own version of a document they claim is true.
