How many times have we not heard the Chief Imam admonishing and sometimes warning these Zongo hoodlums against easily taking to weapons of all sorts to destroy things in simple cases that could be easily resolved by sane minds? What sort of justice system are we trying to build when criminals are left off the hook of justice simply because some "influential" person in society has pleaded on behalf of persons for their wrong=doing that is criminal in nature? My understanding of the law is that it is no respecter of persons; it grips and deals with the lowly in society as well as the high without favour. I need somebody to tell me I am wrong otherwise I will be right to say that we are slowly building a class system before the law. What should a Chief Fetish Priest of an area say when he pleads on behalf of errant criminals from his area and he is not heeded to? Will he be right to say that the Chief Imam is regarded as more important than him? If what is good for the Goose is equally good for the Gander, then under same circumstance, what message are we sending to ill-mannered and potential wrong-doers in our society?
It is high time we called off the bluff of the few ill-mannered,uncouth Zongo youth who at the least misunderstanding resort to causing mayhem, that society is ruled by law that orders the affairs of all and that the law is ready to deal with them. I dare say that until leaders, Chiefs and persons who see themselves more important than others stopped coming to the aid of wrongdoers and also state actors supposed to guard the laws of the land also stopped acquiescing to pleas of such persons, we shall forever have the arms of these mafia-type of groups strengthened.
What happens to people who are in no way connected to the Tafo issue but have had their properties destroyed? Is the Chief Imam under whose instance these hoodlums were left off the hook going to compensate them for their loss or as usual, the state is going to use our taxes to compensate them or yet still, they should give everything to God as is the common mantra in Ghana "fa ma nyame" or to use the dictum of those in Islam, "Allah ya kawo, Allah ya krebi". If this were to be so what lessons would these hoodlums have learnt?

Since Ghana has been pamparing islam and supporting them always Ghana should be prepared for more of their evil acts henceforth.They said boko haram, al queda etc are not muslims. Are these criminals destroying propertis, looting people's shop, burning churches, injuring innocent people at tafo not muslims? Their imams should never be praised because they are hypocrites in that they condemn the act in public but praise their people in private for doing that. I heard one imam praising their youth, this morning at ayigya zongo, for doing that because their masalache was destroyed.

I charge christian council to rise up and speak to let the politicians know that christian would not tolerate such nonsense from muslims again. Because why should a fight between traditional rulers and muslims lead to destruction of churches. And it seems nobody cares about it. What is the christian council doing about that?This reveals clearly to us that muslims do not love christians and christians must be vigilant when dealing with them. Their quran, imams, mullahs tells them to hate christians that is why they behaved that way.

We are monitoring this case closely and if nothing is done to those foolish people who destroyed properties...we shall see...All those that burnt the churches will go MAD in some few days to come
