I believe the government led by John Mahama worth the applauds for his commitment to fighting corruption in the country.

The truth of the matter is that, Woyome did not steal money,but was paid for his claim of having rendered a service to the state.

It is only appreciable that after identifying that, the contract that he claimed to have executed for which he demands a payment was not a legal one, the only left is for him to refund whatever he was paid.

This singular action by government to have remain committed to allowing the court to handle the issue to where it has gotten so far is a prove of the fact that, the President John Mahama is not corrupt as certain quarters would want us believe.

Finally, on the issue of arresting and jailing persons for alleged claims of corruption against them, the best is to allow the law to take it course.

The fact that EX President Kufour went after people and jailed them do not warrant that President Mahama toll a similar path. After all, it is not his duty to prosecute or jail, that is the duty of the police and the attorney general.

The question we must again be asking ourselves is, what became of the action taken by President Kufour? The people he arrested then, are they still not walking about? This is to tell us that, you do not go arresting people on a mere perception of they being corrupt, but it should a thing done lawfully through the provision of unquestionable evidence.

He is not a thief,he did not force anybody to give him the money,he went to court and the court ruled in his favor,let us stop calling people names,Woyome did not steal from anybody,taking him to court was abuse of power and a disgrace,the people who caused the financial loss to the country are walking free,they authorized the payment and if the payment was wrong you don't try to jail the person who went to court of law to obtained the judgement,does it mean the judge was also going to be prosecuted?

He should refund the money and he has already agreed to do,but the ruling all along has been on emotions but not the law,it is not contractors that take contracts to parliament for approval but the authorities,you don't punish the contractor for the negligent of officials who failed to take the contract to parliament for approval.
Is the Supreme Court telling us it was the duty of the contract to go to parliament to seek parliamentary approval,is this not a simply logic for everyone to get.
If officials fail to send contracts to parliament to seek approval such officials should be punished but not the contractor,our Supreme Court is being used to cover up for criminals,it is a shame.
