I thought they always discuss these things at their cabinet level but analyzing his comments it shows that it was not a cabinet decision,it may not be about presidential ambition which is more than 4 good years away but he should have blamed his colleague Finance minister who is behind all these unnecessary increases especially at the beginning of the year right after the holidays when people just spent a lot of their money and when we are in an election year,blame the terkpeconomics system not the companies and that useless regulatory body,PURC or whatever the acronym is led by Moses Asaga.

I don't support any increment of goods and services which are not necessary,nobody in his right mind should support increment that makes people of a poor country like Ghana to buy fuel more than double the price in a wealthy country like the US,no matter which government did it,it is wrong,I will not support it,it affects me negatively too,the people making those increases don't pay for what they are increasing for the poor although they use it more than the public,they use it for free or get free money from us to pay for them.

As an individual, he has the right to let his views on issue of national concern to be made known.

But as an appointee of the Government in power, I think he should have known better, all the same, there have been a reconsideration and the hikes have been reduce further.

The current administration has proven beyond all reasonable doubts that, it believes in democracy, because if it should have been any other party, the Hon. Minister could have been shown the exist for expressing such a contrast.

The hikes, however outrageous they might be, have already been reduce. The government is indeed, that of, by and for the people.

Ghana is blessed to have this current administration.
