Sometimes you have to yield to your better angels and make strategic compromises for the sake of peace and children unborn. If you eat your own tongue you wouldn't have eaten any meat, please compromise and move on, being intransigent and doing the same thing over and over again but hoping for a different result is the definition of insanity. Whilst the two of you are entrapped in your intransigent positions, the world still moves on, it has no time for you two. Let sanity ring, enough of bloodshed and waste.

It is obvious one side recognizes two chiefs whereas the other has nothing but contempt for one chief, respecting their own, whilst dismissing the royal of the other. Get real, you can't choose for the Abudu gate who their royal should be. Maybe the coupist NRC govt of Acheampong shouldn't have invalidated the Abudus royal. This is man-made error and I believe man-made corrections can resolve the impasse. Let the Abudus do their funeral at the Gbewaa palace and be over with, it is not like any funeral will bring back the dead. It is the highest form of insanity to go to war over dead chiefs. What about the living and the unborn? Will you rather kill more of yourselves and hope that brings you peace or make compromises and have your brothers with you in peace? Enough! Time to put logic over emotions.

We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

Frankly, some of us are getting sick and tired of their silly wars up there! Since the 1969 "Yendi Skin" thing successive governments of Ghana have been spending billions on peace-keeping in that part of Ghana every year, more than they spend on the wealth-generating parts of Ghana.

They get free education which does not even benefit them. Money that is allocated to develop their regions are stolen by the few educated rogues.

For all I care, let them prepare to eat themselves up! There will be fewer of them afterwards to worry ourselves about. Why can't they begin to behave like other human beings and let bygones be bygones?

We are sending the message to NDC that the Volta region is full of people with wisdom and as the Amenfi by-election showed with reduced votes for NDC, so shall it be in the Volta region. We want to be known as the region that makes government like Central, Greater Accra, Western, Brong Ahafo and Northern. We refuse to be the world bank for NDC.
This is a warning to NDC. We are Ghanaians and very serious people. If Ghana is good, it is good for all of us. WATCH OUT NDC AND GIVE US RESPECT.

I think the rest of this country has not only had enough of them but we have all wasted enough of our time and resources resolving on what needs to be done to bring peace to the two groups. It now seems to me that they are willfully holding the whole country to ransom.

The annoying thing about this is that it is only the most backward and unenlightened members of our society - of course including politicians, who seriously engage themselves in these chieftaincy affairs and disputes.

The Eminent Committee needs seasoned conflict resolution experts to resolve this challenge. Is it not time to return to the Nayiri's palace in Nalerigu to solve this challenge as was the case during the time of the great, great Kano educated Naa Zangina?

Perhaps we need to put the two warring factions in the Tamale stadium, lock them up to fight until we hear no sound of fighting and then we open them. Why can't they resolve their differences?
