What this Taxi driver did was brave, however it is unfortunate that in this part of the world, because of poverty, people get their priorities wrong. These armed robbers had done their worst and were trying to escape. Believe me, Koala would not have lost much if they had got away. The question is, is your life worth risking for a bag of money that is not even yours? If any of the theives had been able to stand, the driver could have got shot. Which of you, if you are honest, would advise your loved one to do the same when neither his money nor anyone's life is at stake?

The robbers were lucky the soldier did not eliminate the threat (self defense). They would have been killed outright for continuing to shoot, if this happens in the US. So that ''innocent until proven guilty'' does not apply in this situation. I HOPE YOU HAVE HEARD ABOUT SOMETHING CALLED SELF DEFENCE. I hope you are not an armed robber too.

No matter how we see this deed, a responsible policeman will tell you...next time, leave it to the police to deal with armed suspects. It could have gone the other way and he could have got shot..for trying to save a bag of K ...
