According to him, corruption is the root cause of all the problems that the country faces adding that if the country’s revenue was properly managed, Ghana shouldn’t have experienced dumsor.

Ghanaians have battled severe power cuts over the last three years with the nation’s power distributors sometimes shedding as much 650 megawatts during peak times
Corruption is the reason why we have dumsor and I have said that I will be the David to fight the Goliath in Ghana which is corruption.

“Corruption is hurting me…I am saying corruption because the installed capacity for generating power is there and we are unable to pay for gas. Where is the money, everybody knows that Ghana is rich so its corruption,” Dr. Mahama said.

How is that process going to be carried out and what are the modalities for that audit process?
One party has gone ahead to bloat the national register with it's accomplices in the EC, including the outgone EC Chairman.For you to clean it as an institution to make it credible, you must have all that data, all of it. So if it could be cleaned through an inclusive and collaborative audit process, why was it not cleaned and it has not been cleaned?
If this is the position of the EC Chair, then she must know or have an idea of the kind of bloating that the NDC party engaged in, because were that not to be the case, how can the NDC party which bloated the register claim, it must be audited and cleaned? Cleaned of what to make it credible?
Madam Charlotte Osei continually incriminates herself and the EC in this matter of the bloated register, and as try hard as they can to disabuse the minds of Ghanaians about the need for a clean, credible and uncompromised voters register, they make matters worse.
Ghana must have a new, freshly compiled voters register for the 2016 elections and Ghanaians insist and demand this is done to safeguard the peace and stability of this country. There can be no two ways about it. The new register must be compiled.

The issue of call for review and subsequent replacement of the current voter register is to uphold the integrity of our fragile democracy and just like the previous times,it's only men and women of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition who see it wise and right to lead in the fight for it.

It was also discussed extensively publicly and a committee formed and it came out with its reports that there is no need for a new voters's register , why won't you take it?The bottom line is that they are all aiming at one thing.The Oly thing is that proper checks must be put be in place to ensure that the register is cleaned up.
