This is the stupidest request I have ever heard, coming from a head of a professional association. Bootball, indeed sports generally in today's world, is business. We must therefore stop government interference in all aspect business activities. The GFA and the clubs should be in the position of supporting their activities as business entities.

Take away the fat bonus from the Black Stars, stop paying ExCon memebers money for not doing anything and best of all go to that Cameroonian head of CAF by the name Issa Hayatou to look for better sponsorship deals. There is money to be made in European Championship league by qualifying alone team receive money. Government should support but when it come to accountability you will go to Fifa.

These morons want the Government to invest in the clubs, they produce players for foreign teams to poach, the players beef themselves up and are invited to play for the Black Stars. Then, when FIFA pays the GFA money for the Black Stars to play in FIA tournaments, Nyantakyi and the GFA take the money and tell the Government to stay off. NO GOVERNMENT INTERFERANCE! When it suits us we say we are autonomous and independent so no government "interference". Where are the three world cups monies? Did they go to government? Why has the GFA, knowing this perennial problem, not created a fund to support qualifying clubs, as part of the development of the game? Government would not come in today, only to be told tomorrow that it does not have a say in what the GFA does!

Why can't the Clubs stand on their own two feet? They should explore innovative ways of raising money and the GFA should be taking the lead to ensure they are self sufficient and then, perhaps,it might rub off Ghanaian Clubs in both the domestic league and in Africa.

Kwasi Nyantakyi , if the teams are representing Ghana in "football", then is is not incumbent on the Ghana "Football " Association to be involved rather than the government which must not interfere in the "football " affairs of the Ghana Football Association . You want the government just to dish out money to you to be spent anyhow you deem fit without any question? How ironic. On which planet do you live with such logic? What do you do with the World Cup appearance earnings? That is when you use your CO-EFFICIENT formulae?
