It may be an announcement. But Kumasi must be careful. They should stop tge all die be die. They should have been left in the darkness to teach them a lesson that we need to protect national assets and not be partisan.

So these guys are back with the sabotaging hein? Oh Ghana party politics. Solving the dumsor is seen as a disadvantage for some, so they will sabotage the efforts.

Just around the time the Power Minister announced we would not see Dumsor again, transformers exploded in Kumasi of all places in Ghana, huh?
This could be a real deliberate sabotage to deepen the mess the NDC is in with our Power. If any partisan antagonism is behind this Dumsor crap, we ought to find out. I suspect that certain elements in the Opposition do want the Dumsor to persist throughout the whole of next year so that they could use that for Electioneering campaign against the incumbent Administration.
As much as I believe we need a change to forestall corruption and help us restore our Economic and Social balance, I also strongly believe any sabotage of that nature hurts the ordinary folks and Businesses most and should be completely rejected and exposed.
Many Businesses are at risk with the persistence of the Dumsor, and no one should unduly take advantage of it for sheer political scores.
Long Live Ghana!!!

I like reading your comments but I'm afraid to say this one is below your standard. Why would someone deliberately cause dumsor in Kumasi when we all know Mahama will lose massively in this region? Surely, any smart opposition will perpetrate such foolishness in places where they struggle during elections. I live in Kumasi and I can assure you that the citizens have become accustomed to dumsor. In fact dumsor is the least of our worries. The major challenge facing residents is the slowdown of businesses due to the reconstruction of Kejetia, which has displaced people from their worksites. This transformer issue is purely accidental. It's an internal fault. If it wasn't, we would have heard something from the experts at the ECG.
